A gas transfer and depressurization system that is configured to transfer gas from a first location to a second location wherein during the transfer of gas the pressure of the first location is reduced. The gas transfer and depressurization system includes a drive chamber having an interior volume with a drive assembly movably disposed therein. A first cylinder and a second cylinder are operably coupled to the drive chamber on opposing sides thereof. The drive assembly includes a drive rod having portions extending into the first cylinder and second cylinder wherein the drive rod has pistons formed on opposing ends thereof. A controller is operably coupled to a compressed air source and is configured to provide compressed air into said drive chamber so as to reciprocally move the drive assembly. Gas blocks and coupling block are additionally present and facilitate flow of gas intermediate the first and second cylinders.

Packing seal assembly

A fluid end assembly comprising a plurality of fluid end sections positioned in a side-by-side relationship. Each fluid end section comprises a housing having a bore formed therein for housing a reciprocating plunger. Fluid is prevented from leaking around the plunger by a packing seal assembly. The packing seal assembly comprises one and only one packing seal.

One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for a compressor assembly that may comprise a crankcase with a suction pipe connected to the crankcase, wherein the crankcase suction pipe is configured to be in fluid communication with the crankcase. A crankcase suction valve may be located between the crankcase suction pipe and the crankcase, wherein the crankcase suction valve is configured to prevent backflow from the crankcase into the suction pipe. A first piston may include a suction valve which allows fluid to flow from the crankcase through the first piston and into a first cylinder. A discharge valve may be connected to a head of the first cylinder, facilitating the expulsion of compressed fluid out of the first cylinder.

Process for internally cooling an inline compressor

A process for internally cooling an inline compressor involves the steps of providing a compression chamber between an outer cylinder and an intermediate cylinder and a drive chamber between the intermediate cylinder and a piston; admitting gas into the compression chamber; pumping drive fluid through the piston into the drive chamber to extend the intermediate cylinder and compress the compression chamber and the gas in the compression chamber; allowing heat from the compressed gas to transfer to the drive fluid; allowing the compressed gas to exit the compression chamber; allowing the withdrawal of the drive fluid from the drive chamber; passing the withdrawn drive fluid through a heat exchanger to cool the drive fluid for reuse in extending the intermediate cylinder.

Air compressor

The patent application discloses an air compressor. The air compressor comprises a pair of pistons, a motor, a flywheel, a pulley, a crankshaft. Each piston is reciprocable in a corresponding one of the cylinders so as to reciprocate along the axis of the corresponding cylinder to vary a working volume of the cylinder. The motor comprise an output shaft. The pulley transmits torque from said output shaft to said flywheel so as to rotate said flywheel about said axis upon rotation of said output shaft. The crankshaft interconnects said flywheel with said piston so as to reciprocate said piston in said cylinder upon rotation of said flywheel. The diameter of the pulley is smaller than that of said flywheel.
