A system and method for producing compressed air from ocean waves. The system includes an enclosing frame having a base anchored to an ocean floor with two or more columns extending upward from the base to above the ocean surface and a platform at an upper end of the columns. A float is located in the frame between the columns so that the float is confined to go up and down. The float is placed on the ocean surface within the frame and goes up and down with the ocean waves. One or more pumps are located on the platform with the hammer head that can be raised and lowered to produce compressed air with the pumps. The hammer head is connected to the float with two or more elongated shafts so that the hammer head is raised and lowered by the ocean waves and produces compressed air.

System and method involving a variable speed cooling fan used with a compressor and an internal combustion engine

A system and method of a variable speed cooling fan for a skid mounted compressor. A magnetic variable speed clutch is mounted to the cooling fan drive shaft. The clutch mechanism is driven via by a drive pulley on the crankshaft of the engine driving the compressor. The speed of the fan is varied dependent upon the temperature of the fluids being cooled.

Multi-Piece Fluid End

A fluid end is formed from a first body attached to a separate second body. Each body includes an external surface. When the bodies are attached, their respective external surfaces are in flush engagement. A plurality of bores are formed in the second body that are alignable with a plurality of corresponding bores formed in the first body. The fluid end may be used with seals disposed within recesses within each bore to seal against corresponding sealing surfaces. Further, retaining closures may be bolted to the fluid end bodies, such that the closures have a threadless connection to the fluid end bodies. Various combinations of such components may be utilized.

Electromagnetic clutch and compressor provided with same

Provided is an electromagnetic clutch capable of shortening, even in a low temperature atmosphere, the fuse reaction time from when a rotating shaft is locked, while preventing or suppressing malfunction of the thermal fuse. An electromagnetic clutch 1 is equipped with a rotor 2, an armature 3, an electromagnetic coil unit 4, a thermal fuse 5, and a thermally actuated switch 6. The thermally actuated switch 6 is connected in series to an electromagnetic coil 41 of the electromagnetic coil unit 4 along with the thermal fuse 5. When a temperature of the thermally actuated switch 6 exceeds a switching temperature (predetermined temperature) Ts, the thermally actuated switch 6 is displaced in an electric power supply OFF direction, and thereafter, it is displaced in an electric power supply ON direction due to a reduction in temperature. The thermally actuated switch 6 turns ON/OFF the electric power supply to the electromagnetic coil 41 such that the thermal fuse vicinity temperature T1 does not exceed the operational temperature Tf of the thermal fuse 5 due to self-heating of the electromagnetic coil 41 itself generated by the electric power supplied to the electromagnetic coil 41, thereby preventing malfunction of the thermal fuse 5 due to self-heating of the electromagnetic coil 41.

An aeration ring is fixedly arranged at a bottom of the outer pipe, and the aeration tube has an air outlet pipe in communication with the outside. A movable foot is rotationally provided at a tail end of the suction tube, and the movable foot adapts to surface fluctuations to swing in a range limited by an angle limiter.
