Vacuum pump screw rotors with symmetrical profiles on low pitch sections
A vacuum pump screw rotor, comprising at least two helical displacer elements on a rotor shaft. The at least two displacer elements have different pitches, but the pitches of each displacer element are constant. Furthermore, the displacer elements each have a helical recess, each having a contour that remains the same over its entire length. Hereby, a suction-side displacer element has a recess having an asymmetric contour, and a pressure-side displacer element has a recess having a symmetrical contour.
Screw compressor with magnetic gear
A screw compressor is provided including a casing having a suction port and a discharge port, a male rotor rotatable relative to the casing about a first axis, a female rotor rotatable relative to the casing about a second axis, and a magnetic gear system. The magnetic gear system includes a first magnetic gear associated with the male rotor and a second magnetic gear associated with the female rotor. The first magnetic gear and the second magnetic gear are positioned such that a magnetic field of the first magnetic gear interacts with the second magnetic gear to drive rotation of the female rotor about the second axis.
Screw spindle pump, fuel pump assembly, and fuel pump unit
A screw-spindle pump comprising: first and second screw spindles forming running and drive spindles, respectively, and a pump housing configured to receive the first and second screw spindles. The first and second screw spindles form, with at least the pump housing, delivery chambers, moving from a suction side to a pressure side of the pump as a consequence due to rotation of the screw spindles. The pump housing has an elongate insert, as an abutment for the first and second screw spindles and against which the first and second screw spindles are supported, the elongate insert having a first portion forming a first abutment for the second screw spindle and a second portion forming a second abutment for the first screw spindle. The elongate insert is clamped into a receptacle of the pump housing using a cross-sectional dimension of the elongate insert.
Variable volume ratio screw compressor
A screw compressor, method of operating, and refrigerant circuit are disclosed. The screw compressor includes a suction inlet that receives a working fluid to be compressed. A compression mechanism is fluidly connected to the suction inlet that compresses the working fluid. A discharge outlet is fluidly connected to the compression mechanism that outputs the working fluid following compression by the compression mechanism. A valve assembly is configured to vary a location at which the compression mechanism compresses the working fluid, the valve assembly being disposed to modify a suction location of the screw compressor.
Variable displacement lubricant vane pump
A variable lubricant vane pump includes a pump housing, a shiftable control ring, a rotatable pump rotor, a control ring preload spring which preloads and pushes the control ring into a high eccentricity direction, a hydraulic safety control chamber which moves the control ring against the control ring preload spring and which is directly and constantly pressurized with a pressurized lubricant having a pump outlet pressure, a separate hydraulic adjustment control chamber which moves the control ring against the control ring preload spring and which is selectively pressurized with the pressurized lubricant having an over-atmospheric pressure, an electric adjustment valve which selectively directs the pressurized lubricant having the over-atmospheric pressure to the separate hydraulic adjustment control chamber, and a calibrated hydraulic channel which directly connects the separate hydraulic adjustment control chamber with atmospheric pressure. An effective hydraulic cross-sectional area of the calibrated hydraulic channel is less than 5.0 mm.sup.2.
High suction pressure single screw compressor with thrust balancing load using shaft seal pressure and related methods
A high suction pressure thrust load balance assembly configured for use with a single screw compressor includes comprises a sealing baffle that is keyed to, so as to be rotatable along with, a main rotor drive shaft of the single screw compressor. The sealing baffle is configured to create a force or load to counteract the axial force of the main rotor drive shaft created during rotation of the main rotor drive shaft using the pressurized oil used to lubricate the mechanical shaft seal of the compressor.
Scroll compressor having buffer member arranged between end of shaft and recess of eccentric bush
A scroll compressor that includes a rotating shaft, an eccentric bush having a recess, into which one end of the shaft is inserted, and an eccentric portion eccentric to the shaft, an orbiting scroll operatively connected to the eccentric portion for orbiting, a fixed scroll engaged with the orbiting scroll, and a buffer member interposed between the one end of the shaft and the recess. Therefore, it is possible to prevent damage to the scrolls due to liquid refrigerant compression during initial operation and to prevent an impact sound between the shaft and the eccentric bush due to the rotational clearance therebetween.
Pressure compensated external gear machine
Devices and systems relating to external gear machines that comprise microsurface shaping on the lateral surfaces of the gear teeth and/or bushing surfaces are provided. Such microsurface shaping may comprise a flat step to linear wedge profile, a flat step to flat step profile, or solely a linear wedge profile. The incorporation of microsurface shaping on the gear teeth and/or bushing plates contributes to improving the lubrication performance within the external gear machine and provides significant benefits, including the improvement of operating efficiency, life, and reliability of the system components. Methods for manufacturing the gear teeth and related bushings are also provided, the methods configured to optimize the overall axial balance within the system.
Pump and system for supplying a consumer
The invention relates to a pump, having a contour ring, having a rotor, having vanes, having side plates, having a housing and a housing cover, having under-vane grooves for supplying the lower vane faces with pressure, the vanes being arranged radially displaceably in the rotor and extending under the vanes as a result of the pressure and being pressed against the contour ring. Furthermore, the invention relates to a system for supplying oil to a consumer.
Eccentric bush assembly structure of scroll compressor
An eccentric bush assembly structure of a scroll compressor, in which an orbiting scroll is eccentrically coupled to a rotary shaft of a drive motor, including a bush body rotatably coupled to the orbiting scroll while being pinned to the rotary shaft of the drive motor by an eccentric shaft, the bush body having a friction prevention groove formed in a surface facing a tip surface of the rotary shaft so as not to come into frictional contact with the tip surface.
