The oil baffle shield is arranged to cover the balance weight and is provided with a central opening. The crankshaft extends through the central opening. An accommodating space is defined between the oil baffle shield and the rotor core. The accommodating space is communicated with the vent hole.
Rotary compressor
A rotary compressor includes a first cylinder, a first piston and a drive shaft. The drive shaft includes a first eccentric portion, a first shaft portion rotatably supported by a first bearing, and a first coupling portion coupling the first shaft portion with the first eccentric portion. The first piston is fitted to the first eccentric portion. The first shaft portion has a cylindrical shape coaxial with the rotational center axis. R.sub.e1−e.sub.1<R.sub.1. R.sub.e1 is a radius of the first eccentric portion. R.sub.1 is a radius of the first shaft portion. e.sub.1 is an eccentricity of the first eccentric portion. An outer surface of the first coupling portion does not extend radially out of the outer surface of the first eccentric portion. A circumferentially extending groove is formed at an end of an inner peripheral surface of the first piston on a first coupling portion side in the axial direction of the drive shaft.
Compressor having capacity modulation assembly
A compressor may include a shell, first and second scrolls, a seal assembly, a modulation control chamber, and a modulation control valve. The first scroll may include a first end plate having a biasing passage extending therethrough. The seal assembly may isolate a discharge pressure region from a suction pressure region. The seal assembly and the first scroll may define an axial biasing chamber therebetween that communicates with the axial biasing chamber and a first pocket between the first and second scrolls. The modulation control chamber may be fluidly coupled with the biasing chamber by a first passage. The modulation control valve may be fluidly coupled with the modulation control chamber by a second passage and movable between a first position allowing communication between the second passage and the suction pressure region and a second position restricting communication between the second passage and the suction pressure region.
Method of making a two-piece counterweight for a scroll compressor
A method of manufacturing a two-piece counterweight for a scroll compressor is provided. The method includes molding an outer plate, and molding a base having a first opening configured to receive a scroll compressor drive shaft having a longitudinal axis. The method further includes configuring the base for assembly and attachment to the drive shaft. The method also includes attaching the outer plate to the base such that the outer plate is axially offset from the base. In a particular embodiment of this method, the base and outer plate are molded from powdered metal. In certain embodiments, the base and outer plate include one or more openings aligned to permit attachment by inserting a mechanical fastener through the aligned openings. In alternate embodiments, the base and outer plate are attached via brazing or welding.
Scroll compressor
Provided is a scroll compressor which has a reduced noise vibration by minimizing an impact sound generated when the operation of the scroll compressor is stopped.
Electric compressor
An electric compressor includes a housing, a drive shaft, a motor, a movable scroll, and a fixed block. The fixed block is fixed to the housing and disposed between the motor and the movable scroll. The motor includes a stator and a rotor. The rotor has an introduction passage that is formed through the rotor in an axial direction of the drive shaft. The drive shaft includes a balance weight that is disposed between the fixed block and the motor and extends to a position where the balance weight covers at least a part of the introduction passage in a radial direction of the drive shaft in a view in the axial direction. The introduction passage includes a first passage located outward of the balance weight in a circumferential direction of the rotor and the drive shaft, and a second passage facing the balance weight in the axial direction.
COMPRESSOR
A compressor includes a shaft that is arranged along a rotation axis, a compression unit that drives along with rotation of the shaft, a rotor core that is fixed to the shaft, a plurality of permanent magnets that are embedded inside the rotor core, and a stator that causes the rotor core to rotate about the rotation axis, wherein a plurality of eccentric holes for adjusting balance when the shaft rotates are formed in the rotor core, and the plurality of eccentric holes are formed on an inner side of the polygonal region for which midpoints of sides at a side of the rotation axis among sides formed by side surfaces of the plurality of permanent magnet in a cross section perpendicular to the rotation axis serve as vertices.
COMPRESSOR WITH INJECTION MECHANISM
A sheet-shaped check valve 23 which opens and closes the injection passage 21 is placed in the check valve chamber 22, an injection discharge passage 21b portion connected to the compression chamber 13 of the injection passage 21 and the check valve chamber 22 open from an outer surface of the fixed scroll 11, a lid body 25 is attached to openings of the injection discharge passage 21b and the check valve chamber 22 such that the check valve 23 is sandwiched between the openings and the lid body 25, and the injection discharge passage 21b and the check valve chamber 22 are hermetically closed, thereby forming the injection passage 21.
