Refreshing device
Provided is a refreshing device including a fan mounted onto a base. The base includes a main container for storing a fluid, a mini fan, and a nebulizer to set in motion the fluid nebulized outside of the main container toward a diffuser positioned downstream from the fan. The diffuser includes an outlet opening having a substantially annular shape, the outlet surface of the outlet opening being substantially perpendicular to the direction of airflow generated by the fan.
Electric submersible pump (ESP) gas slug mitigation system
An electric submersible pump assembly. The electric submersible pump assembly comprises an electric submersible pump comprising a pump intake and a tubing configured to provide continuous fluid communication between a discharge side of the electric submersible pump and the pump intake.
Self-priming centrifugal pump
A pump with high performance and cleanability includes a casing having a smaller volute and a larger volute; a space between an outer circumference of an impeller and a starting end of the smaller volute being greater than that of the larger volute, generating a circulating flow of self-priming water from the smaller volute to the larger volute; and a diffusing part of the larger volute being formed into an upright, cylindrical self-priming water separating chamber guiding the self-priming water from the smaller volute to flow in for air-water separation. An inner circumference part of the casing is formed concentric with the outer circumference of the impeller with a predetermined space therebetween; defining members are protrusively disposed on the inner circumference part of the casing so as to define the shapes of the two volutes; and the self-priming water separating chamber is made attachable to and detachable from the casing.
Electric submersible pump with discharge recycle
Included are electric submersible pump assemblies, methods of use, and systems incorporating said electric submersible pump assemblies. An example electric submersible pump assembly comprises an electric submersible pump comprising a pump intake, a storage chamber in fluid communication with the discharge side of the electric submersible pump, and a tubing configured to allow for fluid communication between the pump intake and the storage chamber such that fluid may flow from the storage chamber into the pump intake.
Sealing ring gland and fuel pump including the same
A sealing ring gland receives a sealing ring. The sealing ring gland includes an inner wall surface which seals against an inner periphery of the sealing ring. An outer wall surface is radially offset from the inner wall surface and seals against an outer periphery of the sealing ring. The sealing ring is axially compressed between an upper wall surface and a lower wall surface of the sealing ring gland. At least one of the upper wall surface and the lower wall surface includes an expansion volume which provides space for the sealing ring to expand upon swelling of the sealing ring.
Motor vehicle auxiliary power unit vacuum pump
A vapor pump for an automotive application includes a housing group with a pump housing having a pump chamber, an inlet opening and an outlet opening, and a motor housing having a motor chamber; a rotor shaft made from an electrically conductive material; a pumping wheel made of an electrically conductive plastic material arranged in the pump chamber and mounted on the rotor shaft to rotate therewith to pump the fuel vapor from the inlet opening to the outlet opening; a drive motor arranged in the motor chamber which includes a motor stator, a motor rotor and a motor control unit; a contact plug which electrically connects the motor control unit; and an electrically conductive bearing arrangement which is connected with the contact plug via a conductor. The motor rotor is connected with the rotor shaft to rotate therewith. The electrically conductive bearing arrangement rotatably supports the rotor shaft.
PUMP
A pump includes a motor housing configured to support a motor and a pump head coupled to the motor housing. The pump head includes an inlet configured to receive a fluid, an outlet in fluid communication with the inlet, and a bypass assembly configured to facilitate a path for fluid removal. The bypass assembly includes a bypass housing defining a channel in fluid communication with the inlet, a bypass vent in fluid communication with the channel, and a sealing member movably supported within the channel. The sealing member movable between a closed position where the sealing member blocks flow of the fluid from the inlet through the bypass vent and an open position where the inlet is fluidly connected to the bypass vent. An impeller positioned within the pump head and the bypass assembly is positioned downstream of the inlet and upstream of the impeller and the outlet.
Impeller rotor configured with wear resistant seal land
An assembly is provided for a turbine engine. This turbine engine assembly includes an impeller rotor, a seal land and a lip seal. The impeller rotor is configured to rotate about a rotational axis. The impeller rotor is configured from or otherwise includes impeller rotor material. The seal land extends axially along and circumferentially about the rotational axis. The seal land is mechanically attached to and rotatable with the impeller rotor. The seal land is configured from or otherwise includes seal land material that is different than the impeller rotor material. The lip seal radially engages the seal land.
Self-orienting gas evading intake for submersible pumps
A self-orienting gas evading intake for a submersible pump provides an efficient, reliable and inexpensive system for pumping a downhole fluid to a surface. An intake section of a submersible pumping system may comprise a blocker sleeve disposed between an external housing and an eccentric intake. The intake section may be self-orienting such that a gas component of the fluid ascends the borehole to separate from a liquid component of the fluid. Actuation of a blocker sleeve exposes one or more ports of the external housing while blocking one or more other ports. The liquid component is drawn into the intake section through an exposed port and through one or more openings of the eccentric intake. The liquid component may then be drawn into the pump. As the liquid component comprises non-detrimental amounts, if any, of a gas component, the pump operates efficiently and effectively.
