Electric aircraft propulsion system
An electric propulsion system for an aircraft includes a nacelle and an electric machine. The electric machine includes a stator positioned in the nacelle, and a rotor and fan assembly positioned in a primary flow path through the nacelle. The rotor and fan assembly includes a cylindrical fan shroud, a plurality of rotor magnets positioned on an outer surface of the fan shroud, and a fan hub mounted on a central support shaft via one or more bearings. A plurality of fan blades extend between an inner surface of the fan shroud and an outer surface of the fan hub. The rotor magnets may be loaded in compression in a radial direction when the rotor and fan assembly is at rest. The fan blades may be pre-stressed in a radial direction when the rotor and fan assembly is at rest.
Split casings and methods of forming and cooling casings
Structures, such as compressor casings, for reducing a thermal gradient are provided. For example, a compressor case is split such that it includes first and second case segments. The first case segment extends over a first portion of the compressor case circumference and comprises a first inner structure, a first outer structure, and a first porous structure integrally formed as a monolithic component. The first porous structure is defined between the first inner structure and the first outer structure. The second case segment extends over a second portion of the compressor case circumference and comprises a second inner structure, a second outer structure, and a second porous structure integrally formed as a monolithic component. The second porous structure is defined between the second inner structure and the second outer structure. Methods of cooling structures such as compressor casings also are provided.
INTEGRATED CEILING DEVICE WITH MECHANICAL ARRANGEMENT FOR A LIGHT SOURCE
An integrated ceiling device includes integrated ceiling device including an electronic device housing, a heat dissipating structure, a light source, and a reflection/refraction assembly. An air gap is defined between the electronics housing and other components allowing ambient air to flow therethrough for cooling.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING AN INJECTION MOLDED PART, INJECTION MOLD AND FAN IMPELLER
A method produces an injection molded part. A plastic material is injected into a cavity for forming the injection molded part. The plastic material in a flow line region of the cavity, where the plastic material from two directions coincides during an injection molding process, is at least partially removed from the cavity via at least two overflow points and, in so doing, is locally swirled or mixed between the overflow points.
FAN BLADE FILLER
A fan blade of a gas turbine engine may include a blade body having an inner surface defining a cavity in the blade body. A blade filler may be disposed in the cavity. The blade filler may include a bump integrally formed on a first surface of the blade filler. An adhesive may be formed on the first surface of the blade filler. The first surface of the blade filler may be bonded to a fan blade component.
FAN AND HOUSING DEVICE THEREOF
A fan includes a frame member, a fan body, a surrounding plate and a housing unit. The frame member surrounds an axis and defines an accommodating space in which the fan body is disposed. The fan body is rotatable about the axis. The surrounding plate surrounds the frame member and is formed with at least one plate hole extending in a transverse direction transverse to an axial direction of the axis therethrough. The housing unit surrounds the surrounding plate and has a plurality of housing holes extending in the axial direction of the axis therethrough. The housing unit and the surrounding plate cooperatively define a surrounding space therebetween that is surrounded by the housing holes.
AIR MOVING DEVICE
An air moving device according to the present disclosure can include a housing and an installation hub. The housing can be connected to the installation hub via one or more adjustable supports. An impeller can be installed at least partially in the housing and configured to direct air out of the housing. In some embodiments, the adjustable supports can be adjusted to move the housing with respect to the installation hub. For example, the adjustable supports can be configured to modify the tilt of the housing and/or the overall distance between the housing and the installation hub. The installation hub can be installed on a ceiling, wall, or other mounting surface. Adjustment of the adjustable supports can permit vertical alignment of the air moving device housing, even when the installation hub is mounted to a slanted or sloped (e.g., non-horizontal) ceiling or wall.
Ventilation device and vehicle with a ventilation device
A ventilation device has a holder, in particular a ventilation frame, with a substantially circular continuous opening for receiving a ventilation wheel rotating about the central axis, thereof. The opening is bordered by an edge face running substantially cylinder-symmetrically about the central axis. As the edge face in two separate, diametrically opposed peripheral sections the radius is at least partly enlarged in comparison to the cylinder-symmetrical form in the remaining peripheral sections, and/or a circular projection of she edge face, which projection projects radially inwards, is axially offset away from a space provided for the ventilation wheel. Because of she corresponding shaping of the edge face of the opening, contact and/or development of noise between the ventilation wheel and the edge of the opening is prevented in the ventilation frame in the event of a yawing of the ventilation wheel.
STALL MARGIN IMPROVEMENT OF ROTOR FAN AND HOUSING FOR A VANEAXIAL BLOWER SYSTEM
A vaneaxial blower system having a stator and a rotor is disclosed. Each of the stator and rotor have a hub and blades, each of the blades have a leading edge and a trailing edge, an angle theta defined by a line extending from the respective leading edges to the respective trailing edges and the respective hub and an angle beta defined as an angle measured between a camber line between a first blade and a second blade and a horizontal tangential line that extends through respective leading edges of the first and second blade.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A fan module includes a first casing, a driving motor disposed in the first casing, a first rotor connected to the first driving motor, a second casing, a second rotor pivotally configured in the second casing, at least one guiding member and a shift apparatus connected to the first casing and the second casing, the first rotor includes a first rotating shaft and a plurality of first blades, the second rotor includes a second rotating shaft and a plurality of second blades, the guiding member is disposed on the first blade and the second blade. The whole height of the blade is adjusted by adjusting the distance between the two group blades, then the efficiency of the fan is improved effectively to optimize the noise level and the air flow.
