Ducted fan assembly with curved stators
A ducted fan assembly has a central axis, a duct having an outer wall and an inner wall, a fan hub at least partially disposed on the central axis, a plurality of fan blades coupled to the fan hub, and a first stator. The first stator has a first end coupled to the inner wall, a second end coupled to the inner wall, and a hub interface disposed between the first end and the second end, wherein the hub interface is coupled to the fan hub.
Fan design with an impact absorbing structure
An improved fan design with an impact absorbing structure is provided. The improved fan design includes a lower fan assembly connected to an upper fan assembly using a mounting bracket. The lower fan assembly may include a fan base having multiple supporting legs which are preferably rotatably connected to the lower fan assembly. The upper fan assembly of the present invention may include a fan motor and fan blades enclosed within a protective structure. The protective structure of the present invention may preferably include an outer fan cover, a fan grille, an external cage and a perimeter shock absorbing ring extending around the circumference of the outer fan cover. The perimeter shock absorbing ring may include an inner surface, an inner absorption layer and an outer surface. The inner absorption layer may preferably include one or more flexible ribs.

The gas turbine engine can have an air mover configured for generating a flow of air around a rotation axis; a surface extending around the rotation axis delimiting a passage for the flow of air downstream of the air mover; an electric machine disposed within the passage and coupled to the air mover; a coolant circuit having: an evaporator circumferentially disposed around at least part of the electric machine and in thermal communication therewith; a condenser having a surface cooler circumferentially disposed at least partially around the surface and in thermal communication therewith; a first conduit fluidly connecting an upper region of the evaporator to an upper region of the condenser; and a second conduit fluidly connecting a lower region of the condenser to a lower region of the evaporator; and a coolant fluid in the coolant circuit.
Turbo fan and air conditioner
Provided is a turbofan including a shroud, a main plate, and a plurality of blades. A main plate-side shoulder surface portion is curved so as to be distanced from the rotational center axis while approaching the blade trailing edge as the main plate-side shoulder surface portion is distanced from a main plate-side blade tip portion, and has a convexoconcave shape including a blade tip section and the main plate-side blade tip portion. An inner peripheral-side leading edge section includes the inner peripheral-side blade leading edge section main plate-side portion and an inner peripheral-side blade leading edge section tip-side portion including curves that protrude rearward in the rotational direction.
Fan clutch
A fan clutch, in particular for a fan of a cooling system of a motor vehicle having a housing and an annular flange for connecting the fan, wherein the flange is arranged centrally around a housing axis, wherein the flange forms a flat flange-ring plane substantially perpendicular to the housing axis and has a flange-ring inner side and a flange-ring outer side which bound the flange-ring plane, wherein the flange is contorted in the flange-ring plane in certain areas in a direction substantially parallel to the housing axis.
Ice deflector for a fan housing
In various implementations, a fan system may include a housing and a fan. The fan may reside in an orifice of the housing. The fan system may include a grate disposed proximate a top surface and an ice deflector. The ice deflector may inhibit ice formation on portions of the housing, orifice, and/or fan residing in the orifice.
Evacuator system having multi-port evacuator
A pneumatically actuated vacuum pump is disclosed. The pneumatically actuated vacuum pump includes a body. The body defines at least two converging motive sections each having an outlet end, at least two diverging discharge sections each having an inlet end, and at least one Venturi gap. The Venturi gap is located between the outlet ends of the at least two converging motive sections and the inlet ends of the at least two diverging discharge sections.
Evacuator system having multi-port evacuator
A pneumatically actuated vacuum pump is disclosed. The pneumatically actuated vacuum pump includes a body. The body defines at least two converging motive sections each having an outlet end, at least two diverging discharge sections each having an inlet end, and at least one Venturi gap. The Venturi gap is located between the outlet ends of the at least two converging motive sections and the inlet ends of the at least two diverging discharge sections.
CEILING FAN AND BLADE
A blade for a ceiling fan can include a first half and a second half formed from a pulp material. The first half is attachable to the second half to form the blade. Additionally, a blade can include a skeleton with an over molding made from a pulp forming the blade. Furthermore, a blade can be formed using a blade base with a pulp topper added to the blade to form an aerodynamic shape for the blade.
