A gaseous compression system for compressing a gas from an initial pressure to an exit pressure with a first, blower compression bank and a second, mechanical compression bank. Each compression bank has plural stages of gaseous compression with a gaseous fluid compressor and a heat pump intercooler. The heat pump intercooler comprises a cascading heat pump intercooler with a high temperature section, a medium temperature section, and a low temperature section, each temperature section with an intercooler core. Each stage of the blower compression bank has a high-pressure blower, and each stage of the mechanical compressor bank has a mechanical compressor. A final stage of gaseous compression is without a heat pump intercooler. Gas compressed by the gaseous fluid compression system can be injected into a gas-driven generator to generate electric power from movement of a working fluid induced by injection of the compressed gas.

Low profile directional centrifugal ceiling fan

This new ceiling fan is designed to improve functionality of the airflow and to decrease the obtrusive appearance of the traditional axial ceiling fan by incorporating the lower profile airflow technology of a centrifugal fan. The main advantages are that it is much smaller with a lower profile that is mounted flat against the ceiling and can have more focused directional airflow thus enabling a user to feel more air circulation in the specific area of the room. The fan can also be set to oscillate around the room for more diffuse air circulation. Low profile lighting kits can be designed into the lower cover. This new design should be easily mountable on existing ceiling fan electrical boxes. Ideally it could be controlled with the same remote control technology available today for floor standing oscillating fans.

The at least one light source is disposed between the outer light guide ring and the inner light guide ring.

The disclosure provides a centrifugal fan, including an enclosure, a spacer, and a fan blade rotor. The enclosure includes a top panel, a bottom panel, and a side wall connected between the bottom panel and the top panel. The top panel, the bottom panel, and the side wall together form a first air exhaust vent and a second air exhaust vent. The spacer is disposed in the enclosure, is connected between the bottom panel and the top panel, and spaces a first space in communication with the first air exhaust vent and a second space in communication with the second air exhaust vent in the enclosure. The spacer includes a first opening. The first opening is in communication with the first space and the second space. The fan blade rotor is rotatably disposed in the second space.

DUAL MOTOR SYSTEM WITH FLOW CONTROL

A dual motor system includes a first motor providing a lower speed range and a second motor providing a higher speed range, wherein the motors are coaxially arranged and aligned on and drive a common shaft, and a motor control system controlling the speed of the first motor and engaging the second motor as needed. The first motor is a variable speed motor providing a lower two-thirds of a full speed range, and the second motor is an induction motor providing the upper one-third in the form of one or more discrete fixed speeds. The system may include a transformer including a first winding tap which provides a first higher speed, and a second winding tap which provides a second higher speed. The system may also include a flow control system for automatically controlling the speed of the motors for particular applications, such as flow control in a pool.

A ventilation fan with lamp is used to be installed to a ceiling including an installation opening and comprises a housing, a fan module and a lamp module. The housing includes a first opening and a second opening, and the first opening is aligned with the installation opening. The fan module is disposed in the housing. The lamp module is fixed to the first opening by a plurality of elastic elements passing through the housing and includes a lamp cover, a base and a lens. The lamp cover includes a flange portion and a plurality of contact portions, the flange portion and the contact portions are disposed outside the installation opening of the ceiling. The lamp module is connected to the ceiling via the contact portions to make a gap between the lamp cover and the ceiling, and the gap serves as an air inlet of the ventilation fan.

High efficiency double suction impeller

A double suction impeller is disclosed. In at least one embodiment, the impeller is configured for centrifugal pumps and hydraulic power recovery turbines. The impeller's flow-path arrangement comprises inter-blade channels, intersecting each other at the impeller's outer diameter and defining a variable cross section shape, so that the equivalent number of blades is at least doubled with respect to a conventional configuration obtained by the coupling of two single suction impellers and an improved control over the velocity of the flow within the inter-blade channels is achieved.

Fan

A fan is disclosed. The fan includes a base mountable to a ceiling; a base motor contained in the base; a multi-section shaft operably connected to the base motor and moveable between a collapsed position and an extended position; and a fan assembly connected to the multi-section shaft and including a fan motor and at least one fan blade operably connected to the fan motor, wherein in response to a signal, the base motor raises or lowers the fan assembly by moving the multi-section shaft between the collapsed position and the extended position.

Cooling fan and heat dissipating module including the same

A cooling fan includes a base, a tube, a bearing, a stator, a rotor, and fan blades. The base includes a base protrusion. Each of the fan blades includes a first notch. When the cooling fan is working, the base protrusion passes through the first notch on each of the fan blades. The base protrusion and the first notch not only increase the heat exchange area of the base but break the thermal boundary layer on the base repeatedly to improve the heat dissipating effect when the cooling fan is working.
