MEDICAL SUCTION PUMP
A medical suction pump has a pump housing, a pump assembly arranged in the pump housing and serving to generate an underpressure, and a device for sound damping. The device for sound damping has at least two elastic bearings for elastically supporting the pump assembly relative to the pump housing, wherein the bearings are arranged spaced apart from each other. By virtue of the flexible support, the suction pump permits optimal sound damping.
Air compressor
An improved air compressor includes a cylinder that is fitted with a piston body and defines at its top wall a plurality of exit holes which are approximately equal in diameter and can be regulated by a resilient sheet having a plurality of branches to enable the cylinder to communicate with an air storage container. The exit holes are normally sealed by the branches of the resilient sheet with the assistance of compression springs when the air compressor is not in operation. The exit holes allow the compressed air produced in the cylinder to quickly enter the air storage container, so that the piston body can conduct reciprocating motion more smoothly and thus the performance of the air compressor can be increased.
Air compressor
An improved air compressor generally includes a cylinder fitted with a piston body, a main frame for mounting a motor, and an air storage container. The cylinder, which defines a plurality of exit holes, is formed integrally with the main frame. The compressed air produced in the cylinder can quickly enter the air storage container via the exit holes, so that the piston body can conduct reciprocating motion more smoothly and thus the performance of the air compressor can be increased.
Screw Compressor for a Utility Vehicle
A screw compressor for a utility vehicle includes at least one housing and at least one air-oil separator holder arranged at the housing. The air-oil separator holder is manufactured from a non-corrosive material. A relief valve is provided, which is arranged in the air-oil separator holder and by which the interior of the screw compressor can be relieved of pressure.
Pump with a resilient seal
A pump comprises a housing, with an interior defining a rotor path, an inlet formed in the housing at a first position on said rotor path, an outlet formed in the housing at a second position on said rotor path spaced from said first position. A rotor is rotatable in the housing with a first surface that seals against the housing. A second surface is formed on said rotor circumferentially spaced from said first surface and forms a chamber that travels around said rotor path to convey fluid from the inlet to the outlet. A resilient seal formed with the housing is located on the rotor path to prevent fluid flow from said outlet to said inlet past the seal. A passage may be provided to supply fluid to an under surface of the seal at a pressure that acts to urge the seal against the rotor.
Phobic/philic structures in refrigeration systems and liquid vapor separation in refrigeration systems
Oleophobic and/or philic surface(s) are utilized for oil separation, direction, and/or collection in a refrigeration system. Surfaces of component(s) of a refrigeration system (compressor, oil separator, evaporator, etc.) are produced to be oleophobic or philic. The oleophobic and/or philic surfaces are utilized to direct a flow path of oil within the refrigeration system or to prevent oil connection in an area. Refrigerant phobic and/or lubricant phobic material(s) also may be utilized to help promote separation of refrigerant vapor from refrigerant liquid and/or from oil in refrigeration systems.
Water Distributor for an Internal Combustion Engine
A water distributor for water to be injected into a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine is provided with a housing that has a receiving chamber, wherein the receiving chamber extends in a longitudinal direction of the housing. An insertion element with an insertion section is provided and the insertion section is inserted into the receiving chamber and extends in the longitudinal direction in correspondence to the receiving chamber. A water inlet and at least one water outlet are provided. A distributor channel connects the water inlet in fluid communication to the at least one water outlet. The distributor channel is delimited at least partially by the insertion element. The housing and the insertion element are connected water-tightly to each other at an end face of the housing. The housing and the insertion element are made a plastic material.
Polymeric composite engine assembly and methods of heating and cooling said assembly
Engine assemblies and methods of heating and/or cooling the engine assemblies are provided. The engine assembly has a metal liner defining a cylindrical region for receiving a piston, a polymeric composite housing disposed around at least a portion of the exterior surface of the metal liner, and a metal cylinder head. The polymeric composite housing comprises a polymer and a plurality of reinforcing fibers and at least one of: a plurality of microchannels for receiving a heat transfer fluid for heating and/or cooling the engine assembly; and at least one wire for heating the engine assembly.
Air compressor
An improved air compressor includes a cylinder that is fitted with a piston body and defines at its top wall a plurality of exit holes which are approximately equal in diameter and can be regulated by plugs to enable the cylinder to communicate with an air storage container. The exit holes are normally sealed by the plugs with the assistance of compression springs when the air compressor is not in operation. The exit holes allow the compressed air produced in the cylinder to quickly enter the air storage container, so that the piston body can conduct reciprocating motion more smoothly and thus the performance of the air compressor can be increased.
Fused filament fabrication of abradable coatings
In general, techniques are described for fused filament fabrication of abradable coatings. An additive manufacturing system comprising a substrate defining a major surface, a filament delivery device, and a computing device may be configured to perform various aspects of the techniques. The computing device may be configured to control the filament delivery device to deposit a filament on the substrate, the filament including a powder and a binder, wherein the binder is configured to be substantially removed from the filament and the powder includes a metal or alloy configured to be sintered to form an abradable layer.
