Device for recovering hydraulic energy in a machine comprising at least a first differential cylinder-piston assembly having a differential cylinder with a separate rod and base side, at least a second differential cylinder-piston assembly having a differential cylinder with a separate rod and base side, and at least one hydraulic accumulator that can be hydraulically connected to at least one of the differential cylinder-piston assemblies, wherein the differential cylinder-piston assemblies are mechanically coupled to one another, and wherein the potential energy of at least one of the differential cylinder-piston assemblies retracting under a compressive load can at least partially be stored in the hydraulic accumulator.

There is described a valve island base module (12, 14) with at least one valve module receptacle (25a-25h), which comprises means for the attachment of a plurality of valve modules (18a-18h) each including at least one electrically actuatable valve on the valve island base module (12, 14). In addition, the valve island base module (12, 14) has a fluidic and an electrical valve module connection (36a-36h) for the power supply of the valve modules (18a-18h) with electric current. A power supply line (30) is electrically connected with the electrical valve module connections (36a-36h). By means of a safety interface (26, 28) accessible from outside, the power supply of at least one electrical valve module connection (36a-36h) can selectively be interrupted. In addition, there is described a valve island (10) with at least one valve island base module (12, 14) and at least one valve module (18a-18h).
HYDRAULIC ACTUATING DRIVE HAVING A SPRING FOR TRANSFERRING INTO AN EMERGENCY POSITION
The invention relates to a hydraulic device for driving an actuator to be hydraulically controlled or actuated, comprising a motor arranged in a motor housing, a compensating tank (31) for accommodating hydraulic fluid, and a hydraulic pump, which is arranged in a pump housing and driven by the motor, wherein the hydraulic pump is designed in such a way that the hydraulic pump permits conveyance of hydraulic fluid in two directions, namely in the forward direction and in the backward direction, wherein the hydraulic actuator comprises a drive cylinder, which has a first and a second cylinder chamber and a drive piston (3) arranged therebetween, to which drive piston a drive shaft (2) that can be displaced in the longitudinal direction is attached, wherein the device comprises a loading cylinder for an emergency closing spring (16), in which loading cylinder a loading cylinder chamber (12) and a loading piston (11) that can be coupled to the drive shaft (2) are arranged, wherein the emergency closing spring (16) can be loaded into a loaded or emergency-triggering readiness position by the loading piston (11), wherein the loading cylinder chamber (12) is connected to an outlet of the hydraulic pump in such a way that the loading cylinder chamber (12) can be filled with hydraulic fluid by means of the hydraulic pressure of the hydraulic pump and the loading piston can be transferred into a loading position as the emergency closing spring (16) is compressed and the loading piston can be locked there hydraulically by means of check valves (36, 37), and wherein a controlled seat valve (50) is connected to an inflow/outflow opening of the loading cylinder chamber, by means of which seat valve the emergency closing spring (16) can be transferred from the loaded readiness position into an emergency-triggering opening position, wherein both the hydraulic fluid that is contained in the loading cylinder chamber (12) and holds the emergency closing spring (16) in the readiness position and the hydraulic fluid contained in the first cylinder chamber can be discharged via the controlled seat valve (50).

A system may include a hose assembly and a controller. The hose assembly may comprise a plurality of sensor devices configured to generate sensor data regarding the hose assembly. The sensor data may include at least one of first sensor data regarding a bend radius of a first portion of the hose assembly, or second sensor data regarding an amount of torque at a second portion of the hose assembly. The controller may be configured to receive the sensor data from the plurality of sensor devices; determine a remaining life of the hose assembly based on the sensor data; and perform an action based on the remaining life of the hose assembly.

An over-pressure protection system includes a main body housing defining a main body chamber configured to receive a fluid therein, wherein the main body housing comprises a spring, the main body housing configurable in a collapsed configuration and an expanded configuration; and a pressure sensor configured to measure a fluid pressure of the fluid, the pressure sensor configurable in an activated mode and a deactivated mode; wherein, in the collapsed configuration, the spring biases main body housing inward at an intermediate point of the main body housing such that the main body housing defines a substantially hourglass shape.

A hydraulic system including a first cylinder conduit configured to couple to a cylinder, an auxiliary conduit configured to couple to a case drain conduit, and a pressure regulator coupled to the first cylinder conduit and to the auxiliary conduit. The pressure regulator may block fluid flow to the auxiliary conduit if a first fluid pressure is less than or equal to a threshold pressure and enable fluid flow if the first fluid pressure is greater than the threshold pressure. The hydraulic system further includes a supplemental conduit with a check valve that directs fluid from the auxiliary conduit to a reservoir. The check valve blocks fluid flow if a second fluid pressure is less than or equal to a third fluid pressure, and enables fluid flow if the second fluid pressure greater than the third fluid pressure.
Steering System for a Trailing Axle of a Vehicle
A steering system for a trailing or leading axle of a vehicle includes a steering angle sensor for measuring a steering angle of wheels of a front axle of the vehicle, a driving speed sensor for measuring a driving speed of the vehicle, an electric motor that drives a hydraulic pump, and a working cylinder connected to the hydraulic pump for steering the wheels of the trailing axle. The system also includes a control device that determines a trailing angle of wheels on the trailing axle of the vehicle and actuates the electric motor in a corresponding manner. The working cylinder has a center position borehole via which hydraulic fluid is released from the working cylinder. A piston closes the center position borehole in the straight-ahead position of the wheels of the trailing axle. The center position borehole can only be closed by a piston seal of the piston.
Steering System for a Trailing Axle of a Vehicle
A steering system for a trailing or leading axle of a vehicle includes a steering angle sensor for measuring a steering angle of wheels of a front axle of the vehicle, a driving speed sensor for measuring a driving speed of the vehicle, an electric motor that drives a hydraulic pump, and a working cylinder connected to the hydraulic pump for steering the wheels of the trailing axle. The system also includes a control device that determines a trailing angle of wheels on the trailing axle of the vehicle and actuates the electric motor in a corresponding manner. The working cylinder has a center position borehole via which hydraulic fluid is released from the working cylinder. A piston closes the center position borehole in the straight-ahead position of the wheels of the trailing axle. The center position borehole can only be closed by a piston seal of the piston.
