A mount assembly has an attachment component and a housing. The housing is hollow and has an interior and an exterior. The housing has a rear plate that is substantially rectangular, a top face, a bottom face, two lateral faces, and a front plate. The front plate is substantially similar to the rear plate and has an opening that has a keyhole and a slot. The housing also has a spring biased actuator and a detent that corresponds with the keyhole and is linearly biased toward the front plate. The attachment component is configured to be releasably coupled to the housing, and has a rear wall that is substantially similar to the front plate of the housing, and a post that extends perpendicularly from the rear wall. The post has a flattened head at a distal end that corresponds to the keyhole of the front plate of the housing.

A method for forming an engagement portion in a workpiece is provided, said workpiece preferably consisting at least partially of wood, materials containing wood fibers, wood composite materials, veneer, plastics materials and combinations thereof. The method has the following steps of: providing the workpiece having a cutout, introducing a predetermined volume of a curable filling compound into the cutout and introducing an engagement element into the curable filling compound, wherein the engagement element has an engagement structure which at least partially represents a geometric counterpart to the engagement portion, the engagement portion takes up a predetermined position in the workpiece, and the engagement structure is arranged at least partially in the filling compound.

SEAT BEAM CLAMP
20190291616 · 2019-09-26 · ·

A beam clamp (124) for a passenger seat includes a keyhole (126) configured to flex outwardly from an un-flexed position to a flexed position. The diameter of the keyhole in the un-flexed position is less than the diameter of the keyhole in the flexed position. A method of assembling the passenger seat includes assembling a seat base and connecting a seat back to the seat base. Assembling the seat base includes flexing the keyhole of the beam clamp outwards from the un-flexed position to the flexed position and inserting a support beam within the keyhole in the flexed position.

CONNECTION SYSTEM FOR CONDENSER AND STEAM TURBINE AND METHODS OF ASSEMBLING THE SAME
20190285120 · 2019-09-19 ·

A connection system for coupling a steam turbine to a condenser is provided. The connection system includes a dog-bone connector, a first clamp, and a second clamp. The dog-bone connector includes a first end, a second end opposite the first end with respect to the third direction, and a body extending therebetween. The first clamp includes a first portion, a second portion coupled to the first portion, and a first retention cavity defined therebetween. The first retention cavity is configured to couple to one of the steam turbine and the condenser such that the first portion is movable relative to the second portion along the third direction. The second clamp is configured to couple to the other of the steam turbine and the condenser and includes a third portion, a fourth portion coupled to the third portion, and a second retention cavity defined therebetween.

HANDHELD MISTING DEVICE WITH PRESSURE-RELIEVING HANDLE
20190270106 · 2019-09-05 ·

A misting device has a form factor that allows the device to be handheld. The device includes a fluid tank that can be pressurized to force the contained fluid under pressure through a fluid delivery system. A hand-operated pump injects air into the fluid tank to pressurize the fluid tank. The pump includes a pump handle located at the bottom of the tank at one end of a rod, and a piston at the other end of the rod. A pressure-relieving air channel extends through the piston, the rod, and the pump handle to emit air out of the pump and into the environment when the fluid tank is at a maximum pressure.

Hybrid fastener

A hybrid fastener is provided in combination with a structural insert. The insert is disposed about a shank of the fastener at an unthreaded section. In another aspect, a sleeve surrounds the shank of the fastener and has apertures for receiving the insert therethrough. Methods of using the above-described hybrid fastener for securing workpieces are also disclosed.

Fastening method for components

Methods for fastening or coupling dissimilar materials to each other may include providing a first component with a first through hole and a second component with a second through hole that is at least partly aligned with the first through hole. A mixture including a first material and a second material may be injected into the aligned through holes of the first component and the second component. The mixture of the first material and the second material may expand in the through holes, e.g., due to a chemical reaction, thereby connecting the first component and the second component together.
