FASTENER FOR GROOVED JOINT BETWEEN FURNITURE PANELS
A fastener for a grooved joint between furniture panels is disclosed, including a connecting rod having an outer periphery which includes a first peripheral section and a second peripheral section, where the first peripheral section is a geometric cross section and the second peripheral section is of an arc shape; the first peripheral section and the second peripheral section are connected end to end; and a face of one end of the connecting rod is provided with an installation recess for turning the fastener for a grooved joint between furniture panels; an outer surface of the connecting rod is provided with a thread and a stop perpendicular to a direction of the thread; and the other end of the connecting rod is provided with a ratchet. The fastener is convenient to install and uninstall and does not damage back panels or installation panels.
Joint members for refrigerator appliance casings
Refrigerator casings and joint members therefor are provided. A joint member includes a body extending between a first end and a second end generally along a lateral direction. The body further includes a forward face and an aft face spaced apart from the forward face along a transverse direction, and further includes a top surface and a bottom surface spaced apart from the top surface along a vertical direction. The joint member further includes a plurality of barrier channels defined in the body, each of the plurality of barrier channels extending generally along the lateral direction between the first end and the second end. The joint member further includes a plurality of tube channels defined in the body, each of the plurality of tube channels extending generally along the vertical direction between the top surface and the bottom surface.
Construction kit for display
The present invention relates to a construction kit and, in particular, modular flooring elements for the assembly of a modular raised floor base with detachable and interchangeable cover plates. More specifically, the stackable floor elements with associated presentation pedestal that may be assembled horizontally or vertically in order to assemble a presentation floor or stage to showcase products. The main objective of the present invention is to provide improved coupling means for a composition between floor elements, blocks, and cover plates which further allows to make a wide variety of floors with different heights and shapes.
Spring loaded split tongue connector system
A connector system for mechanically connecting two structural elements to each other, consisting of a connector element and mating grooves in each structural element. The connector element is comprised of a base plate having a split-tongue element at each side or end of said base plate. Each joined element has a mating groove formed into its connector-receiving surface. The mating groove is designed to allow fabrication via four sequential circular saw cuts, without loss of saleable decorative surface, and at a rate consistent with economical commercial production of vinyl, laminate, or hardwood flooring. The connector element is readily extruded in a variety of polymers, including PVC. The connector and mating grooves interact so as to generate a force component acting to forcibly draw the connector into the mating grooves. The connector system operation is relatively insensitive to geometric deviations associated with normal manufacturing methods.
Mechanical locking system for panels and method of installing same
Floor panels are provided with a mechanical locking system including a flexible locking element in a locking groove which during a horizontal motion is displaced vertically.
Panel fastener
A panel fasteners (20) is disclosed in the form of a hook and cam assembly (21) having two side walls (24) with a boss (27) through which a cam shaft (28) is journalled. The cam shaft has a socket (29) and a round cam (30). A hook (32) is frictionally mounted in camming engagement with the cam. A leaf clutch spring (33) is mounted within a spring mounting notch (36) and in frictional engagement with a substantially round cam engagement hole (34) of the hook. To position the spring into the spring mounting notch and cam engagement hole the spring is pre-compressed prior to mounting it within the spring mounting notch by forcing it through a narrowing channel positioned adjacent the cam.
WORKTOP FOR PIECES OF FURNITURE AND METHOD FOR JOINING SLABS SO AS TO OBTAIN SAID WORKTOP
A worktop (1) for pieces of furniture includes two slabs (3, 4) made of stone, arranged so that they are adjacent to each other at the level of corresponding head surfaces (5, 6) in order to define a work surface (2) exposed to the outside. A joining arrangement is suited to stably connect the slabs (3, 4) and includes a first bonding substance (8) interposed between the head surfaces (5, 6) and recesses (9) obtained on the head surfaces (5, 6) of each slab (3, 4), mutually facing each other and configured in such a way as to define corresponding housings completely delimited in the direction of the thickness of the slabs (3, 4), the first bonding substance (8) being spread mainly in the housings.
Toe Notch Plate
The Toe Notch Plate attaches to a standard router and maintains the router at approximately a 75 degree angle from the work piece and is adjustable for use with ¾″ or ½″ material. It also maintains the router bit a consistent distance from the edge of the work piece. When the router is moved along the edge of the work piece it will create an angled groove providing a resting point for a nail gun and an entry point for brad nails. This allows the grooved piece to be toe nailed to another piece of wood which typically will be perpendicular.

Local connection of sheets onto one another, method and apparatus for the implementation thereof
A local connection of contact surfaces of top and bottom sheets is formed in a defined connection zone. The zone is polygonal and the top and bottom sheets jointly form within the periphery of this zone a connecting lip with their first side faces located opposite one another cut obliquely through their sheet thickness. These first side faces of the sheets and their adjacent obliquely-oriented second side faces in the zone are complementarily beveled in the form of a conical wall running downwards and inwards, so that in the vicinity of these second neighboring side faces the underside of the bottom sheet protrudes inwards past the top surface of the connecting lip at the location of the top outside edges of its first side faces. A method and an apparatus are arranged to implement the local connection.
