HOUSING STRUCTURE AND PROCESSING DEVICE EQUIPPED WITH HOUSING STRUCTURE

A housing structure includes an upper housing at an upper side of a device housing, a lower housing at a lower side of the device housing, and a positioner that positions the upper housing on the lower housing. One side surface of the device housing has an opening extending astride the lower housing and the upper housing when the upper housing is positioned on the lower housing. The positioner includes a reference positioning element that is provided toward any one of four corners of a connection area between the lower housing and the upper housing and that has a reference hole provided in one of or each of the lower housing and the upper housing and a positioning reference pin fitted in the reference hole, an anti-rotation element that is provided toward another corner of the four corners excluding the corner near where the reference positioning element is provided and that has an anti-rotation pin provided at one of the lower housing and the upper housing and an anti-rotation hole that is provided in the other one of the lower housing and the upper housing, receives the anti-rotation pin, and suppresses rotation of the upper housing relative to the lower housing about the reference positioning element, and position regulation elements that are respectively provided toward corners, of the four corners, located at opposite sides of the opening such that the one side surface having the opening is interposed between the corners. The position regulation elements individually have position regulation pins provided at one of the lower housing and the upper housing and position regulation holes that are provided in the other one of the lower housing and the upper housing, receive the position regulation pins, and positionally regulate the corners located at the opposite sides of the opening.

Method and system for interconnecting structural panels

Building or structural panels may be joined, such as to form walls or floors. The panels may be connected in various orientations via one or more connectors. The connectors may mount to anchors associated with the panels. The panels may have outer skins located over an expanded core comprising a matrix of supporting elongate members and voids or openings, with the anchors located at edges of the panels.

Fastener migration limiting feature

A retaining clip for constraining a heat shield for use with an aircraft wheel assembly. The retaining clip includes a first end and a second end axially opposite the first end, the first end being opposite the second end along a longitudinal axis. The retaining clip further includes a first side and a second side each having a curvature forming a U-shaped cross section such that an outer edge of each of the first side and the second side extends back towards the longitudinal axis. The retaining clip further includes a migration stop defined by the first side at the first end, the migration stop extending past the outer edge of the second side and configured to interface with hooks of the heat shield to resist axial movement of the retaining clip relative to the heat shield.

Recessed-key panel interlocking device
11585361 · 2023-02-21 ·

The recessed-key panel interlocking device is intended to provide a mechanical joint that can connect two panels using a single fastening key. Accordingly, the device connects two panels by interlocking uniform gaps and fingers that have been formed on the edges of each panel, by a small cylindrical key that holds them together. To accomplish this, a channel that can hold the key is formed along the edge region of both panels when the panels are oriented normally to one another. Further, when the panels are interlocked, the key is completely recessed within the panel material. Furthermore, while the panel edges that form the joint must be uniformly rectilinear and meet at right angles at the joint itself, beyond the joint they can assume any shape and bend to any angle, so that parts joined by the joint do not have to be panel-shaped or perpendicular to each other overall.

Joined body and automobile seat frame

A joined body includes: a thin plate including through holes; first members each including: a base portion and a protruding portion inserted into one of the through holes; and a second member placed oppositely to the base portion via the thin plate and made of a material that is of a same kind as a material of the first members. The thin plate is made of a material having a specific gravity smaller than the materials of the first and the second members. The second member and an end portion of the protruding portion are connected together by melt-solidification. A post-joining hardness difference in a range of 30% along a direction orthogonal to a joint interface between the second member and the protruding portion, the range being centered on the joint interface, is equal to or less than 90% of a pre-joining hardness difference.

Joint structure

A joint structure comprises a first panel and a second panel joined together by mechanical clinching. The joint structure includes a join region that is formed so as to extend in an elongated shape by forming plural clinched portions in a given arrangement by mechanical clinching. At least one clinched portion of the plural clinched portions is clinched from an opposite panel side from other clinched portions of the plurality of clinched portions.

Clamp for standing seam

A clamp assembly that may be used for securing to a raised portion of a surface. The clamp assembly comprising a mounting body of a general block shape having a slot for receiving the raised portion formed in a bottom surface of the mounting body attaching the clamp assembly thereto. The clamp assembly is configured with one or more pins that may be formed in a substantially elongated cylindrical shape. The pins may be configured to be received in one or more push-pin holes formed in the mounting body, whereby the push-pin holes extend to the slot from a side surface of push-pin holes. The clamp assembly includes a fastening element adapted to be received in a fastener hole formed adjacent the push-pin holes in the side surface of the mounting body. The fastening element is configured to secure, attach and hold the clamp assembly to the standing seam by forcing the pins against the raised portion of the surface disposed in the slot.

A press locked grating, in particular for use as a shelf for plate or heavy-duty shelves, has two longitudinal sides and cross members and longitudinal members having an I-shaped profile arranged between the longitudinal sides and at right angles to each other. The longitudinal members are inserted or pressed into punched holes of the cross members open towards the grating upper side. The longitudinal sides are formed in cross-section as a profile that includes at least first and second orthogonal legs. Each cross member has a punched hole at each end, in which the first leg is arranged and firmly connected thereto by a connecting method. The first leg is inserted or pressed into the punched hole, thereby achieving a first connection of the profile to the cross member, and has at least one deformation, thereby fixing the insertion or press connection of the cross member to the profile.
