A method for using modular items arranged as a system to connect easily available mostly inexpensive, bulky materials sourced elsewhere for the purpose of constructing objects of a person's own or another's design. The modular items work as an interlocking system that allows a wide range of options for securely connecting hoses, timber, pipes, plastic, metal and plywood sheets together as well as allowing various degrees of freedom of movement where required. Among other methods, connectors comprised of specialized sections that connect with each other as well as various base sections via inserts, lugs or other means are used to quickly assemble a designed item.

The present invention provides a system which allows users to mount multiple pieces of equipment to a tower and it has the unique capability to adjust a steel frame to level without additional equipment. In accordance with a first preferred embodiment, the present invention includes a duel locking system that includes a taper adjusting bolt to adjustably position the frame level with the earth. Further, the dual locking system of the present invention preferably further includes the use of retaining bolts to keep the assembly positioned correctly. According to a further aspect of the present invention, once the taper adjusting bolt is in its desired position, the retaining bolts are preferably tightened to lock the frame in place, with the taper adjusting bolt acting as a redundant measure to help maintain the level state.

Spring clip upright connection for rack shelving

A spring clip upright connection for rack shelving includes one upright with tabs and square cutouts and another upright with slots with metal spring clips. As the tabs of one upright are inserted into the slots of the other upright, the uprights are aligned and the spring metal clips open up. When the tabs are fully inserted, the clips latch into the cutouts of the slots of the other upright thereby engaging the upright sections together. This latching prevents one upright from being removed from the other upright while the slots and tabs maintain the appropriate alignment of the uprights.

Geodesic Framework Hub with Strut Holding Mechanism Movable Between Full-Hold and Partial-Hold Positions
20190154079 · 2019-05-23 ·

A hub for interconnecting a plurality struts at a node of geodesic framework features a receiver and a holding mechanism. The receiver has a plurality of receptacles to each receive an end of a respective strut. The holding mechanism is movable between a full-hold position and different partial-hold positions. The full-hold position at least partially obstructs each of the receptacles to block withdrawal of any strut ends already received in the receptacles. Each partial-hold position reveals one of the receptacles to enable insertion or withdrawal of a strut end, while continuing to obstruct all of the other receptacles to prevent inadvertent separation of any previously installed strut. Struts are inserted one-by-one as the holding mechanism is indexed from one partial-hold position to the next, without worry of any preceding strut separating from the hub. A kit with a spacer enables fastening of two hubs together in a multi-layer geodesic framework.

Multidirectional aluminum extrusion connection device

A multidirectional aluminum extrusion connection device includes a direction-change coupling member having two ends respectively forming first and second coupling sections arranged in an angularly-staggered manner to extend in different directions for each connectable with a connection member. A first aluminum extrusion plate is provided to receive one of the connection members to extend therethrough so as to be set at a location corresponding to the first coupling section. A second aluminum extrusion plate is provided to receive the other one of the connection members to extend therethrough so as to be set at a location corresponding to the second coupling section. The first and second aluminum extrusion plates are thus connected in an angularly staggered manner to form a connection module having and defining a corner. The connection members may be additionally connected two pre-prepared aluminum extrusion parts for respectively coupling to the first and second aluminum extrusion plats.
