CLAMP ASSEMBLY FOR MOUNTING PANELS TO I-BEAMS
A clamp assembly is provided for securing a panel or fairing to an I-beam, and comprises a pair of side blocks and a clamping block, together with a single bolt to secure them in place. Each of the side blocks as an inclined wedge surface, and the T-shaped clamping block has similarly sloped wedge surfaces along the sides of the leg of the T. When a bolt this passed through side legs of the side blocks, and through or under the clamping block, a sliding and wedging action between the inclined and sloped wedge surfaces occurs. Moreover, a clamping action between the top surface of the clamping block and the lower surface of the lower flanges of the I-beam is also induced.
Structural attachment sealing system
A mounting device includes a base that is rectangularly elongated. The base includes an open bottom that extends lengthwise along a direction of elongation of the base. A pair of guides is disposed on opposite sides of the base, extending lengthwise along the direction of the elongation of the base. The pair of guides are for guiding support hardware in linear movement along the direction of the elongation of the base. An internal cavity is within the base for containing a sealant against a roof when the mounting device is secured to the roof. An opening extends through the base for receiving a fastener to secure the mounting device to the roof. The opening is in communication with the internal cavity.
Wall mounting bracket for channel profile element
A wall mounting bracket for mounting a channel profile element to a wall surface includes a wall plate to be mounted to the wall surface, and at least one support for supporting an end portion of the channel profile element. The support is attached to and extends from the wall plate. The support includes at least one wall portion having fastening apertures. The support includes at least a first support profile and a second support profile. In use the first support profile bears against an exterior side of one of the opposing walls of the channel profile element and the second support profile bears against an interior side of the other one of the opposing walls of the channel profile element.
Connector for non-cylindrical composite tubing
A connector may couple to a non-cylindrical composite tubing having at least two lateral sides disposed in parallel and an open end. The connector may comprise first and second bonding plates adhered to an inner surface of the two lateral sides via an epoxy adhesive uniformly distributed. The first and second bonding plates may each have a distal lateral face defining a plurality of first threaded holes accessible at the open end of the composite tubing. The connector may also comprise an end plate having a plurality of first and second slotted holes disposed substantially in parallel and each aligned with an associating one of the first threaded holes. The connector may also comprise end plate fasteners loosely inserted through the first and second slotted holes and engaged with the first threaded holes. The end plate may also comprise one or more attachment points.
Structural attachment sealing system
A mounting device includes a base including an open bottom. An internal cavity is under the base for containing a sealant against with a roof when the mounting device is secured to the roof. An attachment member extends from the base. The attachment member has a first face and a second face opposite the first face. A plurality of openings are through the base for receiving a plurality of fasteners, respectively, when the mounting device is secured to the roof. The plurality of openings are in communication with the internal cavity. A sidewall of the base extends outward such that the base and the internal cavity extend beyond each of the first face and the second face.
Low temperature method for hermetically joining non-diffusing ceramic materials in multi-layer plate devices
A method for the joining of ceramic pieces with a hermetically sealed joint comprising brazing a layer of joining material between the two pieces. The wetting and flow of the joining material is controlled by the selection of the joining material, the joining temperature, the joining atmosphere, and other factors. The ceramic pieces may be on a non-diffusable type, such as aluminum nitride, alumina, beryllium oxide, and zirconia, and the pieces may be brazed with an aluminum alloy under controlled atmosphere. The joint material is adapted to later withstand both the environments within a process chamber during substrate processing, and the oxygenated atmosphere which may be seen within the shaft of a heater or electrostatic chuck.
Reinforced Hinged Connector
A connector is provided to attach a supported member to a supporting member, with the supported member being in sloped and skewed relation to the supporting member. The connector has back members attached to side members. A seat member attaches to the side members through a hinged connection. The seat member interfaces with the bottom face of the supported member and can be disposed at a sloped angle. A pair of seat side members extend from the seat member.
OVERHEAD RAIL ATTACHMENT
A rail attachment for supporting a support rail includes two rail brackets engaging with and securing the support rail therebetween, a connector securing the two rail brackets to one another and including an attachment unit suspending the rail brackets and support rail, each the rail bracket including a support section engaging and secured to the support rail and each bracket further including a first connection section extending over the support rail, an intermediate region and a distal region whereby the distal region is spaced from the support section by the intermediate section and wherein the distal region is of a greater length than the intermediate region as considered in a direction perpendicular to the direction in which the intermediate region spaces the distal region from the support section, and the connector including a second connection section securing the distal regions of the rail engagement brackets relative to one another.
Structural Attachment Sealing System
A mounting device includes a base that has an internal cavity and an open bottom in communication with the internal cavity. The open bottom mounts flush against a mounting surface without flashing when the mounting device. The base also includes a sealant within the internal cavity. The sealant directly contacts the mounting surface when the mounting device is secured to the mounting surface. The mounting device also includes a fastener opening defined in a top of the base and extending through the top to the internal cavity. The fastener opening is for receiving a fastener to secure the mounting device to the mounting surface. The securing causes the sealant to directly contact the mounting surface and the open bottom to mount flush against the mounting surface. The mounting device also includes a member extending upwardly from the top of the base and defining a first attachment face having an aperture.
Multi-layer plate device
A method for the joining of ceramic pieces with a hermetically sealed joint comprising brazing a continuous layer of joining material between the two pieces. The wetting and flow of the joining material is controlled by the selection of the joining material, the joining temperature, the time at temperature, the joining atmosphere, and other factors. The ceramic pieces may be aluminum nitride and the pieces may be brazed with an aluminum alloy under controlled atmosphere. The joint material is adapted to later withstand both the environments within a process chamber during substrate processing, and the oxygenated atmosphere which may be seen within the shaft of a heater or electrostatic chuck.
