SELF-UNDERCUT EXPANSION ANCHOR SYSTEM WITH IMPROVED CUTTERS
20210087932 · 2021-03-25 ·

The present disclosure provides a system to optimally set an anchor and a bullet within a bore hole. The anchor is comprised of at least two cutters connected to and positioned below spreading lamellae of the anchor. The cutters are comprised of a wide edge and a narrow edge, the wide edge having a width that is wider than the circumference of the spreading lamellae to facilitate the setting of the anchor. A space is also initially provided between each of the cutters and the bullet to reduce friction of anchor on the bullet during expansion. During setting, the spreading lamellae of the anchor spread radially over the bullet to set the undercut anchor within the pre-drilled bore hole. In another embodiment, the anchor is comprised of at least two angular cutters having a taper of several degrees to facilitate cutting through the cementitious material of the bore hole.

A wall magnet anchor system is used to install magnetic anchors in wall material that can be used to magnetically hold an object to the wall, thereby avoiding the need to a conventional hook that is protrudes from the surface of the wall. The anchor can include a helical thread to hold the anchor in the wall. An installation tool includes a cutting features at one end for cutting a hole in a wall to receive an anchor, and an installation feature that engages the anchor an allows a user to drive the anchor, through rotation, into the hole cut by the cutting features.

Expansion anchor with additional expansion element

An expansion anchor includes an anchor bolt and an expansion sleeve which encompasses the anchor bolt. The anchor bolt has an expansion-sleeve expansion region and an expansion-element expansion region. The expansion sleeve has an expansion element which is disposed on the expansion sleeve. The expansion sleeve is radially displaceable by the expansion-sleeve expansion region and the expansion element is radially displaceable by the expansion-element expansion region. The expansion element is disposed on the expansion sleeve on a side of the expansion sleeve that radially faces the anchor bolt.

VALVE ASSEMBLY WITH DIRECTIONAL FLOW PATH

A valve assembly with a multidirectional flow path includes a valve body that includes respective hinged portions defining respective passageways extending through the valve body when in a closed state. A flexible conduit or tubing having a loop portion and a plurality of branches extending from the loop portion is at least partially positioned within the valve body. Portions of the loop that extend beyond the valve body are encapsulated by respective rigid jackets. Multiple valves are situated on the valve body and are used to selectively pinch the loop portion in different pinching configurations to direct fluid to or from the particular branches. The valve assembly may be integrated into a manufacturing or other production process with optional additional jackets used to encapsulate the flexible conduit branches.

Anchor for hollow walls

An anchor (910) for mounting to a hollow wall (W) made of friable material comprises a proximal flanged end (918) adapted to be engaged by a rotatable tool (B) to rotate the anchor (910) about a longitudinal axis (A) thereof and to cause is to gradually engage the wall (W). The anchor (910) also includes a distal end (912) adapted to cut through the wall (W) as the anchor (910) is rotated, and a shank (920) extending between the proximal and distal ends (918, 912). The shank (920) includes at least one expandable leg (924) that is in a collapsed position thereof when the anchor (910) is rotated to mount it to the wall (W) and that is located distally beyond a non visible surface of the wall (W) once the anchor (910) has been mounted to the wall and is in a first position thereof. The wall anchor (910) includes an outer thread (922) that securely engages the wall (W). A threaded fastener (B), e.g. a screw, is adapted to be introduced in the anchor (910) and to threadably engage the same distally of the leg (924) such that sufficient rotation of the threaded fastener (B) retracts the distal end (912) towards the proximal end (918) thereby causing the leg (924) to displace to a laterally expanded position thereof and to engage the non visible surface of the wall (W).

Wall-mounted hook

An anchor assembly for use with hollow panels, comprises a holding member, such as a hook, and an anchor. The anchor is adapted to penetrate a hollow panel, such as a wall, and, once the anchor assembly has been installed to the wall, the anchor is firmly secured thereto while the hook, which is joined to the anchor, is located on a visible side of the wall. The anchor includes a first anchor portion and a second vice portion. The anchor portion, when the anchor assembly is installed to the wall, extends through the hole defined in the wall while the vice portion is located behind the wall. An elbow portion is provided on the anchor between the anchor and vice portions for allowing the anchor to be pivoted when being installed in the wall from a first position where the vice portion is inserted though the wall to form the hole therein and a second position where the vice portion extends behind the wall and in abutment therewith and the anchor portion is lodged in the hole.

Apparatus and method enabling one person to layout and install wall anchors for large wall decor items
20200384550 · 2020-12-10 ·

A tool that will enable one person to easily review alternate wall positions for major dcor items, and complete the required installation. The frame of tool is ruled from the mid-point outward, with a bubble-level at the tool center, and RH and LH Sliders that would be set to provide a virtual display of the top corners of the dcor item to be installed. A simple added procedure can add display of all 4 corner positions. The tool has deployable adhesive tabs (DAT)s that can be engaged to a wall surface to firmly hold the tool in position on wall. This feature allows the decorator to stand back for wide views of a position without any measuring or marking. When a position is decided, the drill guides in the Sliders are in position to install dual wall-anchors.

Long versions of tool would use new design composite hinges to have a frame that folds lengthwise.

The surface conforming drywall inserts described in this patent have an improved configuration that is installed with a user-friendly PVA base resin adhesive. This patent also describes a micro-fiber gasket useful to absorb resin extruded from around inserts of a bonded assembly during the installation and cure-cycle process.
