CORNER TRIM MOUNTING SYSTEM
A corner trim mounting system includes a corner trim fastening bracket having a first arm and a second arm joined at an angle. Each arm includes a plurality of inward-facing outer teeth configured to couple the fastening bracket to a building substrate at an outer corner, and a plurality of outward-facing inner teeth configured to receive trim boards so as to retain the trim boards to form a corner trim. The two sets of inner teeth can be parallel such that the fastening bracket can be driven into two perpendicular trim boards simultaneously. A complementary pressing assembly, including a trim support and a bracket driver, may be provided to facilitate assembly of corner trim using the fastening bracket.
Device and method for prosthetic rehabilitation of the retina
A device for prosthetic vision rehabilitation, which includes a scleral explant with a shape that is suitable for being in contact with at least one portion of the sclera of an eye, and at least one inducer arranged on the scleral explant.
Paper-made staple and paper-made staple assembly
A paper-made staple binds a sheet bundle subjected to folding processing by a folding blade and a folding roller. The paper-made staple includes a pair of leg portions inserted into the sheet bundle and then bent inward; and a connection portion that connects the leg portions in a staple longitudinal direction. The connection portion has, at an edge portion thereof, a cut in a direction crossing the longitudinal direction so as to correspond to a predetermined folding position of the sheet bundle for the purpose of facilitating the folding of the connection portion, and the cut is formed inward from the edge portion so as to have a substantially triangular shape and is provided on both edge portions of the connection portion of the paper-made staple.
Fastener cap for lumber wrap
A fastener cap assembly for securing protective wrap to lumber includes a plurality of fastener caps spaced from one another by breakable tabs along a first axis extending through a center of the fastener caps, with each of the fastener caps and breakable tabs comprising a substrate formed from a paper-based material. The fastener cap assembly further includes a groove extending across a center portion of the breakable tabs and penetrating inward from the top surface of the breakable tabs to a predetermined depth, and a protective material applied to at least the top surfaces of the substrates that forms a non-waxy and moisture-resistant protective barrier when cured.
Integrated amalgamation carrier
An integrated amalgamation carrier can join parts. The integrated amalgamation carrier includes an amalgamation carrier body elongated along a longitudinal axis. In addition, the integrated amalgamation carrier includes a plurality of fasteners protruding from the amalgamation carrier body. The fasteners are integrated with the amalgamation body to form a one-piece structure.
Nail plate tool
A nail plate tool which aids in positioning and installing nail plates in hard-to-reach areas. The nail plate tool generally includes an elongated portion having a handle portion at its first end and a holder portion at its second end. The handle portion is adapted to be grasped by a user and the holder portion is adapted to removably retain a nail plate against the nail plate tool, such as through use of a magnet. By removably securing the nail plate to the holder portion, an individual may more easily reach areas to install a nail plate.
Plug connection element and transportation box having plug connection elements
The invention relates to a plug connection element for releasable connecting two adjacent wall elements of a transportation box, having a first U-shaped receptacle for an edge region of the first wall element, which is formed from a first base plate and an inner leg angled to the latter and an adjoined angled outer leg, and a second U-shaped receptacle for an edge region of the second wall element, which is formed from a second base plate and an inner leg angled to the latter and an adjoined angled outer leg, wherein the first and second U-shaped receptacle are identically aligned, wherein the first and second receptacle are connected to each other by means of a bending joint, so that the U-shaped receptacles is adjustable in terms of their angular position to each other.
PRE-PLATED SPLINE FORMED FASTENER AND METHOD FOR MAKING SAME
A method for making a plated spline nail includes plating an elongated wire with a corrosion resistant material, passing the wire through a forming machine having rollers configured with protrusions formed thereon and extending outwardly therefrom to form grooves in the wire. cutting the wire to a desired length and forming a head, and a point on the wire to form the nail. The nail may have ring shanks formed therein after the head and point are formed. A lubricant may be applied to the nail and/or the forming machine prior to forming the ring shanks and/or prior to passing the wire through the forming machine to form the grooves in the wire. A nail formed by pre-plating the wire, and a nail formed by the method are also disclosed.
WALL ANCHOR ASSEMBLIES
An anchor assembly for hanging an object on a wall includes a first anchor component and a second anchor component. The first anchor component includes a base having front, back, top, bottom, left and right sides, and at least one wall penetrating retainer extending from the base and having a wall penetrating extent that protrudes rearwardly of the base and has a downwardly curved configuration. The second anchor component includes a base having front, back, top, bottom, left and right sides, at least one wall penetrating retainer extending from the base of the second anchor component and having a wall penetrating extent that protrudes rearwardly of the base of the second anchor component and has a curved configuration. The second anchor component is pivotably associated with the first anchor component for movement between an anchoring orientation and a non-anchoring orientation.
