Nail for use in nail setting tool
A nail for a nail setting tool comprises a predominantly lignocellulosic material. The nail has a nail shank, at the front end of which is provided a nail tip in the form of a conical round tip. At the rear end region is a head region. The tip angle of the nail tip is >40°.
WALL MOUNTABLE OBJECT SUPPORT SYSTEM AND RELATED ACCESSORIES
A wall mounted object support system includes a grid member with a peripheral portion proximate a wall and a body portion offset from the peripheral portion and spaced further away from the wall than the peripheral portion. The grid member is formed by a plurality of spaced apart first elongated rod or wire portions each running in a first direction and a plurality of spaced apart second rod or wire portions each running in a second direction that is substantially perpendicular to the first direction. One or more of a support block and/or pivoting anchor components may be used to hold the grid member against the wall.
Fastener system
A fastener system includes a fastener or nail for mounting objects on a surface and a corresponding plug for filling a hole left when the nail is removed from the surface. The nail and plug are formed of an engineering plastic, and may be formed from recycled materials. In embodiments, the nail and plug are joined by an arm which is easily broken away. In embodiments, the fastener and plug each have a plurality of flanges which provide strength and grip the surface.

CONNECTING DEVICE, ASSEMBLY HAVING A CONNECTING DEVICE AND HAVING A SUBSTRATUM, METHOD FOR PRODUCING AN ASSEMBLY HAVING A CONNECTING DEVICE AND HAVING A SUBSTRATUM, AND SETTING TOOL FOR PERFORMING A METHOD FOR PRODUCING AN ASSEMBLY HAVING A CONNECTING DEVICE AND HAVING A SUBSTRATUM
According to the invention, a deformation base (3) is arranged on a side of a substratum (1) that is free of holes, onto which deformation base a cage part (6) has been pressed. When the cage part (6) is pressed on, foot segments (8) of the cage part (6), for example, are deformed while sliding on the deformation base and penetrate into the substratum (1), the connecting device thus being formed, and are embedded in the substrate by means of anchoring segments (14). A setting tool (21), comprising an elongate outer body (25), on which the deformation base (3) is detachably attached, and comprising an inner punch (22) that can be displaced in the outer body (25) in a longitudinal direction, to which inner punch the cage part (8) is detachably attached, is used for mechanized performance of the connecting method.
Fastener tip coating
An ease of drive coating for a fastener is formulated from a resin having at least two different friction reducing components, such as silicone and graphite. A fastener and fastener strip include a resin formulation with at last two different friction reducing components.
ONE-PIECE AND TWO-PIECE SHINGLE REPAIR PATCH
A shingle patch for repairing damaged asphalt shingles including a base member having a notched portion or a thin sheet of material associated with one end thereof for sliding under the existing shingle located immediately above the damaged shingle, a sealant covering at least a portion of the notched portion or thin sheet of material and the bottom surface of the base member for attaching the base member to the damaged shingle, and color granules associated with at least a portion of the top surface of the base member. A nail may be embedded in the base member to further secure the shingle patch to a damaged shingle. An additional two-piece shingle patch is provided wherein the base member is further separated into two separate parts, an upper base member and a lower base member, the lower base member including the notched portion or a thin sheet of material.
WATERPROOF NAIL AND SCREW WITH ENLARGED HEAD AND PROTECTIVE GASKET
An integral nail/disk structure that eliminates the need of having any exposed nails associated with a shingled roof having a color matching body member integrally formed with a roofing nail. Another embodiment including a fastener such as a nail or screw having an enlarged head and an associated gasket member for fastening sheet metal to a roof structure. The gasket member has a sealant on both of its top and bottom surfaces so as to adhere both to the underside of the enlarged head portion of the nail or screw, and to the sheet metal to create a waterproof seal. Still another embodiment includes an enlarged cap member associated with a gasket member attached to its underside portion wherein the cap/gasket member can be attached over a fastener hole in a roof, or over a faulty roofing nail or screw in lieu of caulking techniques usually used to cure leaks where the faulty fastener attaches sheet metal to a roofing structure.
SHEAR SCREW NAIL
Disclosed is a shear screw nail, adapted to be in connection a steel skeleton, and comprising a resistance body, configured with a connecting portion at a predetermined position thereof, the connecting portion being hollow inside and configured with at least one connecting recess, and one end of the resistance body being configured with a flange, the width of which is larger than the resistance body. Whereby, a connecting body is in connection with the connecting portion, penetrated through a plate body and supporting body, and then locked through a fixing body and locking body at the penetration end thereof to fix the plate body and supporting body, thereby achieving the effects of fixing the plate body and supporting body and strengthening the breaking strength of the steel skeleton.
