Adaptor for attaching a prime mover to an actuator
An adaptor is used to couple a prime mover to an actuator. The adaptor includes a first portion that attaches to the prime mover and a second portion that attaches to the actuator. The outer surface of the first portion is defined by at least one flat portion connected by at least one arcuate portion. The second portion has a bore configured to accept the first portion, with an inner surface shaped to complement the outer surface of the first portion. A bore through the first portion accepts a drive shaft of the prime mover therethrough where the drive shaft is configured to engage the actuator.
STRUCTURAL ASSEMBLY AND METHOD
A structural assembly includes a first member defining a matrix material, and a second member defining a skin. The skin has a roughed surface of hooks or barbs. The second member is engaged to the first member to define a mechanically interlocked assembly. The assembly may include an open-cell matrix material in a glue-less connection. The assembly may include a chemical bond in addition to a mechanical bond. The assembly may include internal layers of pre-impregnated composite fiber and resin. The skin member may act as a jig for a green composite member. The skin member may be deformed in a press to present a non-planar surface for such other members as may be attached to it. Assemblies may be formed with mechanical interconnection in place of glue or adhesive connections. Assemblies may be formed to may light, thin-walled pipe, flasks, pressure vessels and so forth.
FIXING DEVICE
The fixing device includes a limiting structure and a movement portion. The limiting structure is extended along a first direction and has an accommodation space and at least one pair of hooks disposed at a terminal end of the limiting structure. The extending directions of the at least one pair of hooks are opposite to each other and parallel to a second direction. The movement portion moves relative to the limiting structure. When a bottom of the movement portion is disposed above the at least one pair of hooks, the at least one pair of hooks has a first distance therebetween in the second direction. When the bottom of the movement portion overlaps the at least one pair of hooks in the second direction, the at least one pair of hooks has a second distance greater than the first distance therebetween in the second direction.

Soft recoil system
One embodiment of a gun configured with the soft recoil system comprises a plurality of recoiling parts that initially moves in the direction of the projectile being fired before moving in a direction opposite to that of a projectile during the firing of the round. The soft recoil system throttles the movement of the recoiling parts such that the energy expended during the firing of the round is spread over a longer time period and a longer distance than would normally occur. The soft recoil system stores at least a portion of the energy transferred to the recoiling parts and the user may selectively release at least a part of that portion of energy to offset the energy imparted to the gun during the firing of the next round.
Structure for fastening together resin members in substrate storing container
The upper wall is provided with a recess indented from the outside toward the inside of the container main body, and a protrusion projecting outward on the inside of the recess. The top flange is provided with an insertion part which can be inserted into the recess from the outside of the upper wall. The insertion part is provided with a through-hole capable of penetrating from the side further from the upper wall to the side nearer the upper wall. With the recess in the upper wall opening upward and the insertion part of the top flange inserted into the recess, a molten resin poured into the through-hole of the insertion part from above fills the recess from the bottom surface thereof up to the outer peripheral surface of the protrusion and the inner peripheral surface of the through-hole.
Cabinet installation spacer and retainer
A spacer adapted to be used with cabinet installation includes a spacer block connected to a support wall. The spacer block is adapted to be positioned so that the support wall is placed over a wall edge and the spacer block is placed between a pair of cabinet walls.
Steering apparatus
A steering apparatus includes, at a gear housing, a rack bar containing portion movably containing a rack bar configured to turn a turning target wheel and made from a metallic material, and an engagement protrusion portion provided between a bracket portion and a frame of a vehicle. The bracket portion is provided at the rack bar containing portion. The bracket portion is made from a metallic material. The bracket portion includes a cylindrical portion. The bracket portion is coupled with the frame of the vehicle made from a metallic material. The engagement protrusion portion is made from a metallic material having a higher degree of hardness than the metallic material of the bracket portion and the metallic material of the frame of the vehicle, and protrudes toward a vehicle frame side on which the frame of the vehicle is located. The engagement protrusion portion abuts against a plastically deformable portion of the frame of the vehicle with the bracket portion and the frame of the vehicle coupled with each other with use of a coupling member.
Connecting member of structure
A bracket includes a cylindrical portion and a plate-shaped portion that are integrally formed. The cylindrical portion is provided at one end side of a blank along one direction and is provided with a slit extending over an entire length of the cylindrical portion in the one direction as a result of forming a portion at the one end side of the blank along the one direction into a cylindrical shape extending in the one direction. The plate-shaped portion is provided at the other end side of the blank along the one direction. The cylindrical portion of the bracket is inserted in the cylindrical body member formed of an aluminum alloy material, and the body member and the cylindrical portion are clinched by electromagnetic tube compression.
Advanced clip retainer
A product for fastening a component in place may include a retainer connected with the component. The retainer may have a platform and may have a wall extending between the component and the platform. The platform may define an opening that may be configured for fastening. The wall may define a slot.
