PULL RIVETING SYSTEM
The present invention provides a pull riveting system including two or more pull-rivets and a riveting device, the pull-rivet including a rivet mandrel; the riveting device including two or more rivet gun heads, each provided with a rivet gun hole; wherein each of the pull-rivets is provided with a first label; each rivet gun head is provided with a second label; when one pull-rivet is matched with one rivet gun head, the rivet mandrel of this pull-rivet is applicable to the rivet gun hole of the rivet gun head, and the first label of the pull-rivet is the same as or corresponds to the second label of the rivet gun head. The present invention has the advantageous effects that labels easily identified with naked eyes are arranged on the rivet gun head and the pull-rivet, such that the pull-rivet and the rivet gun head which are matched with each other form a simple correspondence, so that the user may rapidly identify the pull-rivet specification and the rivet gun head matched with the pull-rivet, effectively reducing the waste of the pull-rivets, lowering the damage risk to the rivet gun, and effectively improving the work efficiency.
REUSABLE RELEASABLE RESTRAINT FOR EVACUATION ASSEMBLIES
A releasable restraint may comprise a bracket and a puller removably coupled to the bracket. A first tube portion and a second tube portion may be rotatably coupled to the puller. A torsion spring may be configured to bias the first tube portion in a first circumferential direction and the second tube portion in a second, opposite circumferential direction.

Two-piece blind fastener
A blind fastener for connecting panels includes a bolt and nut. The bolt includes a shaft, bolt head, and lug. The bolt head is between the shaft and lug. The shaft defines external threads opposite the bolt head. The lug includes a first tool engagement portion and first frangible portion that connects the lug and bolt head. The nut includes a sleeve, nut head, and handling member. A central bore of the sleeve receives the shaft and defines internal threads mated with the external threads. The nut head is between the handling member and sleeve. The nut head extends radially from the sleeve and defines a recess that receives the bolt head. The handling member surrounds a portion of the lug. The handling member includes a second frangible portion and a second tool engagement portion. The second frangible portion couples the second tool engagement portion to the nut head.
ASSEMBLIES FOR MATING A RETENTION CLIP TO A BUMPER COVER AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
Embodiments described herein generally relate to an assembly for mating a retention clip to a bumper cover. The assembly includes a mating hole adapter including a body having a through hole of a first inner diameter. The assembly further includes a bumper cover including a through hole of a second inner diameter, where the first inner diameter of the through hole of the mating hole adapter is less than the second inner diameter of the through hole of the bumper cover. The assembly further includes a retention clip including a fastener having an outer diameter that is substantially equal to the first inner diameter, where the retention clip is mated with the bumper cover by the through hole of the mating hole adapter.
Shearing fastener for sealing a fastener hole
A shearing fastener for sealing a fastener hole in a work piece includes a shank, a plug, and a fastener head. The fastener head is disposed along the upper end of the shank, while the lower end of the shank further includes a transition section that tapers inward and intersects with an upper surface of the plug at a neck. The plug has a threaded outer surface and an outer diameter greater than the shank. The plug engages the threaded bore of the fastener hole when inserted therein. The shank is configured to shear across the neck and separate the shank from the plug when the fastener head is torqued above a threshold torque. The plug is retained within the threaded bore of the fastener hole to seal the lower end of the fastener hole, forming a repaired work piece.
Plug for upper coupler of trailer
A plug for insertion into a through hole of a king pin coupler plate of a trailer includes a body defining an axial direction and having an outer surface defining a perimeter with a distance around the perimeter. A plurality of pliable ears extend from the outer surface. The ears are each individually aligned in the axial direction. The ears each have a width that is less than ten percent of the distance around the perimeter of the outer surface of the body.
Mounting system for attaching accessory items to a wall
A mounting system for fastening an accessory item such as a shelf to a wall. The system in one embodiment includes a force-distributing mounting element positioned against the wall and between the item and the wall. The mounting element creates a gap between the item and wall. A cover secured to the item by a fastener is configured to at least partially cover the mounting element, gap, and an upper edge of the item to create an esthetically pleasing appearance. The fastener may extend completely through the cover, item, and mounting element and into the wall to mount the assembly thereto. In some implementations, the mounting element and cover may be omitted and the accessory item may be fastened directly to the wall, which may be hollow or solid. In one configuration, the item may be a cantilevered perimeter frame to which the accessory item is mounted.
