Desk in the shape of a block character
A desk and desk system are disclosed. The desk forms a three-dimensional shape of an alphabet letter, number, or typographical symbol.
CONNECTION OF A SUPPORT TO A MOLDED PLASTIC STRUCTURE
A blow-molded plastic structure, such as a tabletop, may include an undercut. For example, the tabletop may include a frame receiving portion and a frame connecting structure with an undercut may be disposed in the frame receiving portion. A portion of the frame may contact or engage the frame connecting structure, such as the undercut, when the frame is connected to the tabletop. In an exemplary embodiment, a first side of the frame receiving portion may include a first frame connecting portion with an undercut and a second side of the frame receiving portion may include a second frame connecting portion with an undercut. The first frame connecting portion with an undercut may be disposed on an opposing surface from the second frame connecting portion with an undercut.

Self-standing merchandise frame
A Self-Standing Merchandise Frame is provided for displaying merchandise items in a store and allowing the attachment of multiple racks of numerous sizes, including 24 inches, 48 inches and 96 inches. The Self-Standing Merchandise Frame may be configured with a sign plate, a first and a second vertical tubes, an upper and a lower support and a base plate which structurally support the self-standing of the frame. Dependent on a particular application, the Self-Standing Merchandise Frame could be assembled as a single stand or a double stand. Dependent on a particular application, the Self-Standing Merchandise Frame could be assembled with a table.
Radiant furniture
Radiant furniture made of a concrete mix includes one or more heating elements or hot water supplied hydronic tubing that provide comfortable radiant heat. Tabletops can be heated to a temperature that is comfortable for people seated at the table. Other tabletops can be heated to a lower temperature for use in a greenhouse. Benches and seats can be heated to provide comfortable heated seating. A heated surface in the radiant furniture includes a conductive heating element that has a plurality of non-overlapping runs, with a density of the heating element runs being greater near the edges than at an interior part of the heated surface. A controller senses the temperature of the furniture and the ambient temperature, then applies power to one or more heating elements in the furniture according to programmed temperature thresholds to provide comfortable radiant heat from the furniture.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A PIECE OF FURNITURE
A method for the production of a piece of furniture such as a seat, a bed, a table, the piece of furniture including at least one furniture component (10), the method including the steps of making a blank (11) of expanded polystyrene (EPS) with density between 15 and 25 kg/me, the blank (11) being configured to act as a core for the furniture component (10); providing an interface surface (12) in the blank (11); making a rigid insert (13) in rigid material having an engagement portion (14) configured to engage with the interface surface (12) of the blank (11) and a first connection portion (15) opposite the engagement portion; joining the rigid insert (13) and the interface surface (12) so that the engagement portion (14) is engaged with the interface surface (12) and the first connection portion (15) faces aside opposite to the blank (11); coating the blank (11) and the rigid insert (13) by at least one coating layer (30) of polyurethane material, so that the coating layer (30) completely covers the blank (11) and the insert (13), with the exception of at least one part (16) of the first connection portion (15).
Table and Table Assembly
A table assembly comprising a table surface having a first end and a second end. The assembly has a first end piece connectable to the first end of the table surface and a second end piece connectable to the second end of the table surface. There is further a first leg assembly connectable to the first end piece and a second leg assembly connectable to the second end piece. Each of the first and second leg assemblies comprises a pair of lateral legs having an upper surface connectable to its respective end piece, and a crossbar connectable to an extending between each of the pair of lateral legs.
