Screw band
A screw band has a body and multiple positioning members disposed on the body. The body has two paper layers and an adhesive layer. Each one of the two paper layers has a paper base and a waterproof heat-insulation film. The waterproof heat-insulation film is mounted on an outer surface of the paper base. The adhesive layer is disposed between and is connected with the two paper layers. The adhesive layer is connected to inner surfaces of the paper bases of the two paper layers. The waterproof heat-insulation films of the two paper layers are respectively located at two outer surfaces of the body. With the waterproof heat-insulation films, the screw band has waterproof and heat-insulation effects. Screws or screw assemblies are easy to be applied with coating and baking processes automatically with the screw band.
GROUPED SCREW BUNCH AND RELATED METHOD AND MACHINE FOR PRODUCTION OF THE SAME
A screw bunch includes a plurality of screws grouped together in a bunch with the enlarged head end of each screw toward a first end of the bunch and the pointed tip end of each screw toward a second end of the bunch. The screws are held together in the bunch by a band structure that extends around the bunch and that engages with the shanks of a multiplicity of the screws that are located along a perimeter of the bunch. The enlarged head ends of the screws are axially staggered. The band structure may be formed by a shrink wrap plastic band that can be separated from the bunch manually to enable individual retrieval of screws from the bunch for use. A method and machinery for production of the screw bunch is also provided.
Hole punch and also a method for the piercing of a workpiece which is present as a foam material and/or as a sandwich material and also a method for the manufacture of the hole punch
A hole punch and a method for piercing a workpiece wherein a hole punch includes a sheet metal part and a piercing body attached thereto which carries out the piercing function and which is provided with a thread cylinder or can be provided with a thread cylinder, for example by pressing a threaded pin into a centrally arranged passage of the hole punch, wherein the hole punch can also be formed in one piece as a piercing body with a sheet metal-like flange. Furthermore a method is claimed for the manufacture of the hole punch.

Stacked caps with connecting stems
A plurality of stacked fastener caps, each having a cap body. The cap body has first and second faces joined by a perimeter of the cap body, and adjacent faces of adjacent caps are joined by at least one connecting stem. The adjacent caps and connecting stems are integrally molded as a unit as by injection molding. One or both of the first and second faces may be planar. One of the first or second faces may be concave and the other may be convex. One or both of the first and second faces may have first and second thicker portions with a transverse groove interposed therebetween.

FUNCTIONAL ELEMENT
An apparatus and a method for attaching functional elements, e.g. composed of metal, to a component, in particular to a component comprising fiber-reinforced plastic, while using a setting head, wherein the functional element has a contact surface provided with adhesive and wherein the adhesive can be supplied to the setting head in individual depots adapted to the functional elements on a carrier band is characterized in that the functional elements are taken over by a guide device and are each pressable to an adhesive depot and are subsequently guidable with the adhering adhesive depots and separately from the carrier band in the setting head to the setting position in front of a setting die.

Collated T-Nut apparatus
A continuous strip of T-Nuts formed on a common strip of metal. Each T-Nut of the strip of T-Nuts is integrally connected to the next adjacent T-Nut by carry tabs. The carry tabs can be frangible themselves or contain a frangible portion. Each T-Nut includes a cylindrical bore therein and a threaded interior. A mechanism feeds and severs the endmost T-Nut in endwise fashion. The mechanism to feed and sever the endmost T-Nut includes a cutting blade positioned vertically below the frangible portion of the carry tab. A shearing ram having a guide positioned axially in line with the cylindrical bore in the endmost T-Nut is adapted to move vertically from an upper to a lower position to engage the cutting blade with the frangible portion and sever the endmost T-Nut.
