WATER SEALING SURFACE ATTACHMENT
A mounting assembly for securing fixtures to a mounting structure may include a first fastener, a washer, a mounting bracket, and second fastener. The first fastener may be coupled to the mounting structure through a mounting aperture. The washer may be disposed around shaft of the first fastener between a head of the first fastener and the mounting surface. The mounting bracket may be disposed on top of the first fastener. The second fastener may be disposed through the mounting bracket and coupled to head of the first fastener. The washer may be a sealing washer that dispenses liquid sealant under compressive force to moisture-proof the securement of the first fastener to the mounting surface.

Tolerance absorber sleeve (20) for fastening a first component (40) to a second component (30) within a predetermined tolerance range (D), wherein said sleeve (20) is made of a metallic material and comprises a wall (21) and a first axial end portion (26) and a second axial end portion (27). Said sleeve (20) is adapted to be arranged in a hole of said first component (40) and abutting said second component (30) at the second axial end portion (27), wherein said wall (21) of said sleeve (20) comprises at least one weakening zone (22) adapted to plastically deform upon axial compression of the sleeve (20), such that said wall (21) of said sleeve (20) forms a first radially outward projection (201) on a first side of said hole of said first component (40), and a second radially outward projection (202) on a second side of said hole of said first component (40), whereby said tolerance absorber sleeve (20) is adapted to hold said first component (40) by said first and second projections (201, 202) within a predetermined tolerance range (D) from said second component (30).
Bracket for fastening a profile handle
A structural arrangement is provided in the form of a bracket for fastening a profile handle, wherein the bracket is constructed and arranged to be fastened by a fastening screw on a top edge of a front wall of a door or a drawer and contains a passing hole able to receive the fastening screw and a pair of side recesses. The pair of side recesses configures a rail for fitting and sliding a pair of tines existing in an inner region of a base of the profile handle, and the bracket includes other features such as having three of four edges of the bracket comprises removable tabs, a rectangular shape, and a configuration wherein the passing hole is positioned in an internal end of the bracket, the internal end being opposite to the edge of the bracket has one of the removable tabs.
High-capacity radial fit coupling bolts
A high capacity radial-fit coupling bolt (or expanding sleeve bolt) has a pair of tapered sleeves about a shank of a bolt to which can be applied a tensioning load. An extrudable ring, or a compression ring, is interposed between a head nut or head flange at one end of the shank, and one end of an inner sleeve. A tensioning load is applied to the shank, the inner sleeve causing the outer sleeve to expand diametrically. At a preset load limit, the extrudable ring is extruded through at least one bore in a drive piston between the head nut and the extrudable ring, to allow shank to move relative to the inner sleeve until the tensioning load is fully applied. Alternatively, a drive member is provided between the head nut or head flange and the compression ring, and at a preset limit, the compression ring allows the shank to move relative to inner sleeve until the tensioning load is fully applied. The preset limit will typically correspond to the force required to fully expand the outer sleeve.
High-capacity radial fit coupling bolts
A high capacity radial-fit coupling bolt (or expanding sleeve bolt) has a pair of tapered sleeves about a shank of a bolt to which can be applied a tensioning load. An extrudable ring, or a compression ring, is interposed between a head nut or head flange at one end of the shank, and one end of an inner sleeve. A tensioning load is applied to the shank, the inner sleeve causing the outer sleeve to expand diametrically. At a preset load limit, the extrudable ring is extruded through at least one bore in a drive piston between the head nut and the extrudable ring, to allow shank to move relative to the inner sleeve until the tensioning load is fully applied. Integrally formed thread lock retention feature
A laundry appliance includes a basement housing comprising a capacitor receiver. A capacitor is disposed within the capacitor receiver to define a secured position. The capacitor receiver includes at least one retaining flange that is coupled to the basement housing via a living hinge. At least one retaining flange is outwardly biased away from a body of the capacitor when the capacitor is placed in an inserted position. At least one retaining flange includes a thread-engaging surface that operates to the secured position upon rotation of the capacitor in the inserted position.
Integrally formed thread lock retention feature
A laundry appliance includes a basement housing comprising a capacitor receiver. A capacitor is disposed within the capacitor receiver to define a secured position. The capacitor receiver includes at least one retaining flange that is coupled to the basement housing via a living hinge. At least one retaining flange is outwardly biased away from a body of the capacitor when the capacitor is placed in an inserted position. At least one retaining flange includes a thread-engaging surface that operates to the secured position upon rotation of the capacitor in the inserted position.
Fasteners with visual indication of correct installation and method for fastening
A fastener includes a sleeve, a pin, and a visual indicator. The sleeve includes a tubular body. The pin includes a shank. At least a portion of the shank of the pin is configured to extend through the tubular body of the sleeve and to facilitate deformation of a portion of the tubular body into a bulb in response to a force applied to the tubular body of the sleeve by the shank of the pin. The visual indicator is configured to provide a visual verification of correct formation of the bulb.
