Blind fastener
A blind fastener device for fastening at least two workpieces, including a sleeve, an expander having a tensioning section, a locking section, and an expansion section, and a nut. A portion of the expander passes through the sleeve to cooperate with the nut so that relative rotation of the expander and nut draws the expander's distal end toward the sleeve's proximal end thereby drawing a portion of the expansion section of the expander into a structural region located on the sleeve and expanding at least a portion of the sleeve's structural region, and drawing a portion of the locking section past the sleeve's distal end toward the sleeve's proximal end and deforming at least a portion of the sleeve's distal end to a locked state. The sleeve may be configured as a multi-section sleeve having a sleeve retainer to locate the sections in a predetermined relationship.

Captive Mounting Hardware
In embodiments, a mounting bracket may facilitate an attachment of a first device to an enclosure of a second device. A shoulder screw may be inserted through a grommet which is mounted in a bracket, and the shoulder screw may be threaded into an opening within the first device. The grommet may have an axial through-hole with a counter bore. A portion of the shoulder screw may be threaded to mate with a threaded opening of the first device and may be designed to compress the grommet for secure mounting. A raised cylindrical section on the shoulder of the screw may be captured within the counter bore of the grommet when pressed into position and another raised section of the shoulder may prevent the screw from being pulled out of the counter bore when the screw is unthreaded from the corresponding opening of the first device.

Machine element mounting assembly
A mounting assembly has a machine element with a threaded coaxial bore on a shaft, for rotation with the shaft. A split sleeve having external threads is provided and adapted to be fit into the element's threaded bore and mounted around the shaft at any desired position longitudinally and circumferentially. The threads of the split sleeve have apexes at a uniform diameter when unstressed. The threads of the split sleeve are shaped to cause contraction of the sleeve, when threaded into the element's bore, to secure gripping engagement with the shaft so that it frictionally clamps onto the machine element.

Blind fastener
A blind fastener device for fastening workpieces, including a sleeve, an expander having a locking section and an expansion section, and a separate and distinct tensioning section configured to mechanically cooperate with the expander. One end of the tensioning section is configured as a tensioning section gripping region, which may be formed as the head of a bolt. A portion of the tensioning section passes through the sleeve to cooperate with the expander so that relative rotation of the tensioning section and the expander draws the expander distal end toward the sleeve proximal end and ultimately deforming a portion of the sleeve distal end to a locked state. The sleeve may be configured as a multi-section sleeve having a sleeve retainer to locate the sections in a predetermined relationship.

FASTENER AND METHOD OF SEALING PASSAGE
A fastener for fastening adjacent portions of a structure requiring fastening is described. The present fastener enables delivery of grout or a sealing composition into a passage between or adjacent the portions of the structure or between adjacent parts of the structure. The portions of the structure may include tubbing rings and segments thereof. The fastener includes an inlet and at least one outlet. The inlet and at least one outlet are connected by a channel. Grout or sealing composition can be delivered into the inlet where it flows through the channel, outwardly through the at least one outlet and into the passage requiring sealing. A method of sealing a passage in a formation using the fastener is also described.
