Window systems including optical fasteners
A fastener includes a head that is configured to be engaged by a tool, and a shaft extending from the head. The shaft includes a distal end that is opposite from the head. At least one optical component is coupled to one or both of the head or the shaft. The optical component(s) is configured to allow light to pass through the fastener. A window system includes a panel that includes an exterior surface and an interior surface, and the fastener extending between the exterior surface and the interior surface of the panel. A screen is coupled to the interior surface. The screen receives light from the optical component(s) of the fastener.
Fasteners, fastener assemblies and components thereof
A grommet (200, 300, 400), a stud (102), an assembly of a grommet and a stud forming a fastener (100), and a method of assembling a grommet and a stud to form a fastener has the grommet with an interengaging element (250) in a channel wall of the grommet for engaging a cooperating, compatible or complementary interengaging element in a wall of the stud. The grommet and the stud can be assembled by moving the grommet and the stud relative to each other until the interengaging element in the grommet engages the complementary interengaging element in the stud. A family of grommets is described.
Internal combustion engine and fastener
An internal combustion engine includes a block having at least one cylinder, a head joined to the block, a fastener coupling the head to the block and comprising a shank extending along a fastener axis between the block and the head, a fluid conduit extending parallel to the fastener axis and having an inner surface defined by the shank, and a seal fixed to the shank sealing the fluid conduit to prevent a fluid disposed in the fluid conduit from flowing across the seal in the fluid conduit.
HEAT DISSIPATION BOLT
A power distribution unit includes a fuse, a relay, a busbar, and a heat dissipation bolt. The fuse and the relay each have one terminal. The busbar is located between the fuse and the relay and connects to the two terminals. The heat dissipation bolt connects the busbar to a housing of the power distribution unit and includes two threaded bolts, one going through the busbar and the other going through the housing.

Push pin with antirotational stopper and method of use thereof
A push pin with rotational stopper and method of use thereof includes a push pin configured with a plurality of retention barbs extending outward from a surface of the insertion member, the insertion member configured with an anti-rotation section to friction fit therewith a sidewall of an aperture in the panel, an disc spring positioned proximate said anti-rotation section and configured to provide an opposing force to said retention barbs to limit insertion and removal therein the aperture in the panel.
FLUID END ASSEMBLY
A fluid end having its fluid flow bores sealed without threading a retaining nut into the walls of each bore. The fluid ends may be assembled using a plurality of different kits that each comprise a fluid end body, a component, a retainer element, and a fastening system. The retainer element holds the component within each of the bores formed in the fluid end body and the fastening system secures the retainer element to the body. The fastening system comprises a plurality of externally threaded studs, washers and nuts in some embodiments. In other embodiments, the fastening system comprises a plurality of screws.
FASTENING STRUCTURE OF FIBER REINFORCED RESIN-MADE MEMBER
An outer member, an inner member, and an inside fixing member overlap each other and fastened together by a fastening member. The outer member is made of fiber reinforced resin, and fibers contained in the fiber reinforced resin-made outer member are arranged in a direction crossing the above-described overlapping direction. A bolt of the fastening member comprises a conical (truncated cone-shaped) middle portion which is poisoned between a head portion and a shaft portion. In a case where the outer member and the bolt are offset from each other in a radial direction of a through hole of the outer member, the conical middle portion partially contacts an edge portion of the through hole and compress a contacted portion of the outer member in the overlapping direction.
Electronic apparatus and structure
An electronic apparatus includes a bottom cover, a main board provided with a stud, a screw, a washer, and a sponge. The screw has a head portion having a diameter larger than that of an attachment hole, a male screw portion configured to be screwed into a first female screw portion, and a columnar portion having a diameter smaller than a root diameter of the male screw portion. The washer has a flange portion having a diameter larger than that of the attachment hole, a cylindrical portion having a diameter smaller than that of the attachment hole, and a second female screw portion which the male screw portion is screwable into and passable through. The head portion abuts on the bottom cover to fix the bottom cover by the male screw portion. The flange portion is between the stud and the bottom cover.
