WALL-MOUNTABLE ACCESSORY
A wall-mountable accessory such as one which is intended for hanging in a bathroom. The wall-mountable accessory may be a robe hook, a towel bar, a grab bar, a toilet paper holder, a ledge, or the like. The wall-mountable accessory may include a solid body that is at least partially formed from a brittle material. The solid body may have a hole that extends to an opening in its outer surface. The wall-mountable accessory may also include a mounting assembly for mounting the solid body to a wall. The mounting assembly may include a standoff configured to be coupled to the wall and a fastening pin that is coupled to the standoff and has a portion that nests within the hole in the solid body. The mounting assembly may apply a compressive force onto the solid body to prevent fracture.
Fluid end assembly
A fluid end having its fluid flow bores sealed without threading a retaining nut into the walls of each bore. The fluid ends may be assembled using a plurality of different kits that each comprise a fluid end body, a component, a retainer element, and a fastening system. The retainer element holds the component within each of the bores formed in the fluid end body and the fastening system secures the retainer element to the body. The fastening system comprises a plurality of externally threaded studs, washers and nuts in some embodiments. In other embodiments, the fastening system comprises a plurality of screws.
Captive bolt assembly for utility boxes
A durable captive bolt assembly for use with subterranean utility boxes is described. The disclosed bolt assembly includes a fastener, a conical spring, a rigid washer, a deformable washer, and a bushing. The point and threads of the fastener are designed to clear debris from an internally threaded nut and reduce or eliminate cross threading, galling, and electrolysis.
Joint for the firm interconnection of a first and a second panel of furniture and other furnishing items
A joint for firmly interconnecting a first panel and a second panel of furniture and other furnishing items positioned perpendicular to each other is provided with at least one fixing element coupled to the first panel and includes a plurality of interconnection and blocking components for joining and firmly blocking the two panels together, wherein, in the joint, the plurality of components lie on the same plane, which is parallel and interspaced with respect to the first panel and perpendicular with respect to the second panel.
Aluminum alloy and fastener member
An aluminum alloy contains 0.7% to 1.8% of silicon, 0.5% to 2.1% of copper, 0.4% to 1.8% of manganese, 0.6% to 1.6% of magnesium, and 0.1% to 0.7% of zinc in terms of mass ratio and the balance aluminum with inevitable impurities.
Assembly with captive nut
An assembly with an aircraft fuel tank is disclosed having a captive nut with an internal thread, a secondary structure, and a fastener which secures the secondary structure to the fuel tank. The fastener has a shaft which passes through the secondary structure and has an external thread coupled to the internal thread of the captive nut. The fuel tank has a fuel tank element with a hole, and the captive nut has a sleeve which is located in the hole with an interference fit between an outer surface of the sleeve and an inner surface of the wall of the hole.

Dual-threaded screw structure and fastening structure therewith
A dual-threaded screw structure having two kinds of threads formed on a shank, namely, a first thread consisting of one or more threads and a second thread having a lead larger than a lead of the first thread is provided herein. The claimed configuration has a beneficial effect of preventing looseness when the screw structure is fastened with double nuts. One embodiment of the present invention exhibits an example of a dual-threaded screw structure, in which a root diameter between the ridges of the hill-like second thread ridges is formed to be larger by 10% of a height of the ridges than an effective diameter of a first thread. In this case, an inner diameter of an internal thread of a second nut for preventing looseness is formed to be larger than the effective diameter of the first thread by 10% of the height of the ridges.
