Jackscrew assemblies for circuit board connections

A jackscrew assembly for a circuit board connector includes a jackset drive cap including drive cap threads and a jackset body. The jackset body includes first jackset body threads configured to mate with the drive cap threads and second jackset body threads configured to mate with a separate fixed connector fastener. The jackset drive cap and the jackset body are configured to retain a connector body therebetween in an assembled state while allowing the jackscrew assembly to rotate relative to the connector body.

Modular locking pin

An industrial or residential modular locking pin which captures and retains items with optional adjustable pressure prior to tightening. An elongate body carries a plurality of locking balls that are selectively urged radially outwardly to extend past an outer surface of the pin to retain a mounting aperture of a workpiece. Manual and automatically actuated configurations are disclosed.

Wire thread insert with redress mounting tang as well as its manufacturing and installation

A wire thread insert comprises besides a cylindrical helix consisting of a plurality of coils a moving tang projecting into the interior of the helix for installing the wire thread insert into a receiving thread. The wire thread insert is connected to the cylindrical helix via a bending portion such that the moving tang can be redressed into the receiving thread after installation of the wire thread insert. The wire thread insert is installed by means of an installation tool with a mounting spindle, which installs the wire thread insert in the receiving thread via a moving shoulder and the moving tang. A compression blade provided at the mounting spindle bends the moving tang back into the receiving thread while the mounting spindle is removed from the installed wire thread insert.

CONNECTION APPARATUS AND METHOD

A connection apparatus for attaching a first truss to a second truss has first and second connection segments, a bolt and an optional spring. The first connection segment has an aperture dimensioned to receive a threaded end and shank of the bolt. The aperture is also dimensioned to prevent the head end of the bolt and the threaded end from passing through. The aperture comprising a recess for receiving the second end of the spring. The first connection segment has a side opening, open to the aperture, dimensioned to receive the shank of the bolt. The first connection segment has a shoulder portion within the aperture dimensioned to closely fit around the shank and prevent the threaded end of the bolt from passing therethrough. The second connection segment for attaching to the second truss has a threaded hole dimensioned to fixably receive the threaded end of the bolt.

CONNECTOR

A connector includes a housing member having a fitting part that houses a terminal and is fitted to a counterpart connector provided in a connection target and a fixed part that is fixed to a fixed wall surface of the connection target together with the fitting part in the state in which the fitting part has been fitted to the counterpart connector. The fixed part has through holes, which communicate with fastening holes formed in the fixed wall surface along a fitting direction between the fitting part and the counterpart connector and into which fastening bolts fastened to the fastening holes are inserted along the fitting direction, in the state in which the fitting part has been fitted to the counterpart connector, and a screw hole into which a separation member is screwed.

CLIP FOR SUPPORTING REFRACTORY STRUCTURE

A clip for supporting a refractory structure and/or a hanger structure. The clip can have a body with two legs connected to a top. A fastener that extends through the top can be adjusted and/or secured to fix a relative position of the clip with respect to the refractory structure and/or the hanger structure. An adjuster that extends through the top, such as a tab connected to or integrated with the top, can be used to adjust a distance, such as a vertical height, of the clip with respect to adjacent fixed structural members. The adjuster can be used to compensate for a distance change resulting from the refractory structure, the hanger structure, one or more adjacent fixed structural members, and/or any other similar structure, bending, flexing and/or otherwise deforming due to exposure of the components to a relatively high temperature.
