Joint for the firm interconnection of a first and a second panel of furniture and other furnishing items
A joint for firmly interconnecting a first panel and a second panel of furniture and other furnishing items positioned perpendicular to each other is provided with at least one fixing element coupled to the first panel and includes a plurality of interconnection and blocking components for joining and firmly blocking the two panels together, wherein, in the joint, the plurality of components lie on the same plane, which is parallel and interspaced with respect to the first panel and perpendicular with respect to the second panel.
Cutting tool and cutting tool body with a holding member for holding a coupling screw
A cutting tool body is configured for securing a cutting insert with a female thread. The cutting tool body includes a machining end and a tool peripheral surface which extends therefrom. The cutting tool body further includes a through, non-threaded tool coupling bore which opens out to the tool peripheral surface and a coupling screw which has a coupling screw thread. The coupling screw is being located in the tool coupling bore and configured to secure the cutting insert. The cutting tool body further includes a holding member which engages the coupling screw thread at least when the holding member is not in contact with the cutting insert.
Titanium alloy fastener and manufacturing method
The invention relates to a fastener comprising a substantially right circular cylindrical surface arranged along an axis, said surface comprising a grooved shape selected from a thread, a tapping and a plurality of traction grooves, said fastener being made of a beta-metastable titanium alloy. The alloy has a microstructure (40) made up of a matrix (42) and alpha phase nodules (44) distributed in said matrix, the matrix being made up of beta phase and groups (46) of alpha phase lamellae (48) oriented in the same direction.

FASTENING MEMBER
A fastening member in an embodiment consists of a bolt and a nut. A hard layer made of a metal nitride is formed on a surface of a threaded portion of the bolt or a surface of a threaded portion of the nut.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR WALL MOUNTING WITH A ROTATING BUSHING
A wall mounting system is provided including a fastening member including one or more mounting studs and one or more anchor apertures. The fastening member is configured to be anchored to a support structure by one or more fasteners disposed through the one or more anchor apertures. The wall mounting system also includes a bushing assembly including an inner portion including a through hole configured to receive a mounting stud and an outer portion configured to rotate about the inner portion and including at least one set screw aperture configured to align with a set screw aperture of an accessory sleeve and receive a set screw. Rotation of the outer portion about the inner portion enables indexing of the set screw aperture about a longitudinal axis of the bushing assembly.
Formed body of Cu—Al—Mn-based shape-memory alloy and method for producing same
A formed body of CuAlMn-based shape-memory alloy may include a screw portion, wherein the screw portion is a form-rolled portion. A method for producing a formed body of CuAlMn-based shape-memory alloy may involve forming a screw portion having superelasticity by plastically working at least a portion of a material for the formed body with form-rolling in a state that a crystal structure is an A2-type structure and then, subjecting heat-treatment so as to convert the A2-type crystal structure into an L.sub.21-type crystal structure. The screw portion can be formed with good working property, and has excellent fatigue resistance and breaking resistance.

CONNECTION APPARATUS AND METHOD
A connection apparatus for attaching a first truss to a second truss has a first and second connection segment, a bolt and an optional spring. The first connection segment has an aperture dimensioned to receive the threaded end and the shank of the bolt. The aperture is also dimensioned to prevent the head end of the bolt and the threaded end from passing through, and the aperture comprising a recess for receiving the second end of the spring. The first connection segment also has a side opening, open to the aperture, dimensioned to receive the shank of the bolt. The first connection segment also has a shoulder portion within the aperture dimensioned to closely fit around the shank of the bolt and prevent the threaded end of the bolt from passing therethrough. The second connection segment for attaching to the second truss has a threaded hole dimensioned to fixably receive the threaded end of the bolt.
