STEEL WIRE FOR BOLTS, BOLT, AND METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
Provided are a high-strength bolt having a tensile strength of 1,000 to 1,400 MPa and exhibits the same level of the delayed fracture resistance as that of the standard alloy steel even when omitting or reducing Mo and Cr from the SCM steel and the SCr steel, a steel wire for bolts used to manufacture such a high-strength bolt, and useful methods for manufacturing them. The steel wire for bolts in the present invention satisfies the predetermined chemical composition. When a rate of a B content at D.sub.0/4 part in the steel wire for bolts is 100% where D.sub.0 is a diameter of the steel wire for bolts, a ratio of a B content at a surface of the steel wire for bolts is 75% or less on average, and a difference between a maximum value and a minimum value of the ratio is 25% or less. A prior austenite crystal grain size number in a region from the surface to a depth of 100 m of the steel wire for bolts is No. 8 or more.
POLYKETONE RESIN COMPOSITION HAVING OUTSTANDING WATER RESISTANCE
The present invention relates to a polyketone resin composition and to a production method therefor; and relates to a polyketone copolymer having outstanding water resistance, moisture-absorption rate and shock resistance, characterised in that the polyketone copolymer comprises repeat units represented by general formulae (1) and (2) and has an intrinsic viscosity of between 1.0 and 2.0 dl/g. Because of the outstanding moisture-absorption rate and shock resistance, the present invention can be used in, inter alia, marine bolts, clips and holders, connectors, switches, bobbins, sludge-treatment chains, cable ties, automotive fuel injection ports, green juicer screws, office partition frames and box frames.

Elevator handrail attachment mechanism
The present invention relates to a mechanism and method for rigidly mounting a handrail to the interior of an elevator cab. The mechanism includes a threaded rod having a pivoting member at one end for passing through an existing or new opening in an elevator cab wall. Upon passing through the wall, the pivoting member can rotate to provide a brace against the exterior of the elevator cab wall. A base portion having a number of grooves on its exterior surface and threads on its interior surface threads onto the rod to create a solid connection to the cab's wall. The handrail, having a base portion receiver, is then securely attached to the cab by sliding over it the sleeve and having set screw(s) inserted through the handrail's receiver at points adjacent to the corresponding grooves in the sleeve.
Wall-mountable accessory
A wall-mountable accessory such as one which is intended for hanging in a bathroom. The wall-mountable accessory may be a robe hook, a towel bar, a grab bar, a toilet paper holder, a ledge, or the like. The wall-mountable accessory may include a solid body that is at least partially formed from a brittle material. The solid body may have a hole that extends to an opening in its outer surface. The wall-mountable accessory may also include a mounting assembly for mounting the solid body to a wall. The mounting assembly may include a standoff configured to be coupled to the wall and a fastening pin that is coupled to the standoff and has a portion that nests within the hole in the solid body. The mounting assembly may apply a compressive force onto the solid body to prevent fracture.
Seizure prevention bolt
There is provided a seizure prevention bolt capable of preventing seizure caused by oblique insertion as well as seizure caused by invasion of a foreign matter such as a spatter. An incomplete screw portion having an outer diameter d that is larger than an inner diameter D.sub.1 of a female screw and smaller than (D+D.sub.1)/2 is formed at a front end of a normal screw portion formed in a bolt shaft over one or more pitches, and a vertical groove for cutting out a foreign matter such as a spatter is formed in the incomplete screw portion. D in the above expression is a nominal diameter of the bolt.
SLOTTED SET SCREW STRUCTURE
A slotted set screw includes a shank, a slot, a cut metal waste storing recess and an outer thread portion. The slot is provided an end of the shank and includes an opening and a slot bottom surface. The cut metal waste storing recess is provided on the opening of the slot and includes a first vertical wall, a second vertical wall and a horizontal bottom surface. A first horizontal bottom edge connects between the first vertical wall and the horizontal bottom surface while a second horizontal bottom edge connects between the second vertical wall and the horizontal bottom surface. An included angle is formed between the first horizontal bottom edge or the second horizontal bottom edge and a longitudinal axis of the slot less than a right angle. In an embodiment, the bottom surface is lower than a level of the slot bottom surface in a vertical direction.
