Dual-threaded stepped setscrew
Devices and methods for a setscrew device. An elongated cylindrical rod has a first threaded portion with a first diameter and a continuous spiraling thread, an unthreaded shank portion with a second diameter, and a second threaded portion having the second diameter and a continuous spiraling thread. The second diameter is smaller than the first diameter. The unthreaded shank portion is located between the first threaded portion and the second threaded portion forming a step. A bias element is disposed on the step and surrounds the second threaded portion. A compression element is threaded onto the second threaded portion and operatively connected to the bias element.

SET SCREW, FIXING STRUCTURE, FIXING METHOD AND SEALING STRUCTURE
Provided are a set screw, a fixing structure, a fixing method and a sealing structure that can reduce an exposed amount of a set screw and prevent the set screw from coming off a female thread. A fixing structure for fixing a first member 20 in which a female thread 21 is formed and a second member 30 which is provided to be slidable with respect to the first member 20, and in which a through-hole 31 is formed that has a diameter smaller than an inner diameter of the female thread 21, wherein the second member 30 is positioned with respect to the first member 20 in a state in which center axes of the female thread 21 and the through-hole 31 coincide with each other, the set screw 10 is engaged in the female thread 21, and the small diameter portion 13 is inserted into the through-hole 31, whereby the first member 20 and the second member 30 are fixed to each other.
Coupling structure including stud bolt
A stud bolt has a first thread portion, a second thread portion, an engagement portion and a large diameter portion. The first thread portion is screwable into a first member about a screw axis. The second thread portion is screwable into a second member about the screw axis and is provided coaxially with the first thread portion. The engagement portion is provided on a side of the second thread portion, which is opposite from the first thread portion. The large diameter portion has a circular cross-section perpendicular to the screw axis. The large diameter portion is located between the first thread portion and the second thread portion. An outer diameter of the large diameter portion is larger than an outer diameter of the first thread portion and the outer diameter of the second thread portion.
REUSABLE CLAMP DEVICE
A clamping device having a cylinder and a screw. The screw is configured to be fastened into the cylinder such that the screw may be tightened, removed and reused. The device may also include a loop associated with the cylinder that wraps around the item to be clamped and is insertable into the cylinder.
Screw threaded fastening component
The application provides a screw threaded fastening component, which comprises a stud bolt having an external thread, a first connecting part into which a first screw threaded hole adaptive to the stud bolt is formed, and a second connecting part into which a second screw threaded hole adaptive to the stud bolt is formed, and a threaded direction of the second screw threaded hole is against the threaded direction of the first screw threaded hole. The first connecting part and the second connecting part are assembled on two ends of the stud bolt through the first screw threaded hole and the second screw threaded hole, respectively, and the first connecting part is engaged against the second connecting part when the stud bolt is rotated in a direction. The stud bolt is contained in the first screw threaded hole and the second screw threaded hole when the first connecting part and the second connecting part are engaged completely. The application omits the screw head ordinarily designed in screw threaded connection such that the space is saved and the affection on the appearance of the product caused by the exposed screw head can be prevented.
EXPANSION SHEAR PIN FOR USE WITH THREAD-FORMING SCREW
A coupling system for attaching a first part to a second part using a locator and expansion shear pin is disclosed. The first part has a first flange and may be a formed part, such as an intake manifold. The second part has a second flange and may be a component, such as a throttle body, for attachment to the first part. The component includes a fastener-passing bore having an inner diameter. The locator and expansion shear pin extends perpendicularly from the first flange. The pin includes an expansion wall extending beyond the surface of the flange. A fastener-receiving bore is formed concentrically in the pin relative to the wall. The wall is expandable from a first diameter to a second diameter. The first diameter is less than the inner diameter of the fastener-passing bore. The second diameter is at least equal to the inner diameter of the fastener-passing bore.
Sway brace attachment
A sway brace attachment for firmly connecting to a beam and other flanged structures, and a method for manufacturing the sway brace attachment. The sway brace attachment includes a main body and an insert that is captured within the main body by a pair of set screws which also engage the flange. Preferably, a third set screw is supported by the main body and engages the opposite side of the flange from the pair of set screws. The main body can be generally rectangular in shape, with a top wall, a pair of side walls extending from the top wall and a pair of bottom walls, which extend inwardly from respective side walls in an overlapping relationship. The sway brace attachment can be used for bracing pipes and other loads, suspended below ceilings and floors, against sway and seismic disturbances.
Washer With Shear Tube
A fastener system is provided that attaches a connector or other upper member to a lower structural member such as a post or beam. The improved fastener consists of a fastener having an extending shank that is driven into a lower structural member and the fastener is received by a washer that also has an extending tube, and the extending tube of the washer is received by the connector or upper member and is also, preferably received in the structural member.
