Bolt retainer clip
A bolt retainer clip for positioning a fastener and maintaining its alignment within a vehicle body mount. The bolt retainer clip includes a retainer body that has a longitudinal axis, an inside surface, and an outside surface. The inside surface defines a bolt receiving aperture in the retainer body. A plurality of fingers extend into the bolt receiving aperture from the inside surface of the retainer body. A portion of each finger is curved, creating a line contact between the fastener and each finger at a location that is spaced from a terminal end of the finger. Each line contact runs parallel to the longitudinal axis and therefore limits gimbaling movements of the fastener relative to the retainer body.
Engaged member, engaging member, detection device, detection method, and detection program
To reduce the likelihood of erroneous detection resulting from improper engagement of an engaging part with an engaged part, a fixing member is made to have a recess formed therein and is provided with a plurality of conduction paths that are electrically insulated from each other and have portions that are exposed at a plurality of positions including a first position inside the recess and in the vicinity of the innermost part of the recess and a second position inside the recess and not in the vicinity of the innermost part of the recess and other portions that are exposed outside of the recess, and a prescribed member touching the first position and second position can push the area around the opening of the recess.
Anti-theft locking bolt assembly
An anti-theft locking bolt assembly is disclosed. The assembly comprises an anti-theft bolt threadedly attachable to an article to be protected, a bolt cap snugly fitting into a bore on the head of the anti-theft bolt, a lock cylinder housing rotatably connected to the head of the anti-theft bolt via one or more ball bearings, the lock cylinder housing configured to cover the bolt cap and a locking cylinder and to provide means to prevent removal of the bolt cap. The anti-theft locking bolt assembly is suitable to lock a vehicle wheel and also to replace a spark plug of an combust engine to prevent unauthorized use of the vehicle.
HOLDER FOR INSERT AND ASSEMBLY INCLUDING THE HOLDER AND INSERT
A holder for an insert includes a first housing configured to receive the insert. The first housing extends within a plane of the holder. The holder further includes an opening configured for inserting the insert into the first housing in a direction substantially perpendicularly to the plane and a second housing configured to receive the insert, the second housing being in communication with the first housing. The second housing extends within the plane of the holder and is configured to prevent movement of the insert out of the holder in a direction perpendicular to the plane.
MONITORING DEVICE, MONITORING ARRANGEMENT AND MONITORING METHOD FOR MONITORING A SCREW JOINT OF AN OBJECT
A monitoring device for monitoring a screw joint of an object includes a base plate to be attached to the object and a top plate to be attached to one part of the screw joint, wherein the base plate and the top plate are positioned parallel to and on top of each other and wherein both plates each includes at least one electrode that capacitively interact with each other. The monitoring device is characterized in that the electrodes are shaped and positioned such that at least one electrode of one of the plates interacts with at least two different electrodes of the other one of the plates depending on the rotational position of the plates relative to each other. A monitoring arrangement having at least one monitoring device of this kind and a monitoring method are also provided.
ANTI-THEFT TIRE CAP
An anti-theft tire valve includes: (a) a sleeve defining an outer wall and an pass-through channel to receive a threaded valve stem and allow a portion of the threaded valve stem to extend through an upper portion of the sleeve; (b) an internal threaded portion positioned within the upper portion of the sleeve configured to securely engage the threaded valve stem; (c) a torque locking surface defined on an external surface of the upper portion of the sleeve; and (d) a valve cap forming a cover and defining an internal thread configured to receive the threaded valve stem and abut an upper rim of the sleeve. The torque locking surface is configured to receive a locking wrench to rotate in a counter direction and press against the valve cap forming a tension lock configured to restrict the removal of the valve cap without the use of an external tool.
Locking thread fasteners
The present specification discloses a locking fastener that includes a first threaded fastener axially positioned within an axial through hole of a second threaded fastener, and captured therein by a rotating joint that permits rotation of the first threaded fastener and the second threaded fastener relative to one another about a common thread axis. In one or more embodiments, the first threaded fastener thread handedness is opposite to the second threaded fastener thread handedness. Additionally disclosed, is a screwdriver tool configured to simultaneously engage and oppositely rotate the first threaded fastener and the second threaded fastener into a mating component having a first mating thread and a second mating thread configured to receive the first threaded fastener and the second threaded fastener, respectively, driven at the same axial advance distance for each turn. Once tightened, the present locking fastener resists loosening and provides a tamper-resistant hold.

Fastener
A fastener to fasten a member to be fastened includes a shaft portion, a tool working surface, and an external operation restricting portion. The shaft portion is provided with a male thread configured to be rotated about an axis line to work so as to fasten the member to be fastened. The tool working surface is formed to a tool working portion integrated with the shaft portion. A tool to rotate the shaft portion works to the tool working surface. The external operation restricting portion is configured to restrict the rotation of the shaft portion through an operation from outside the fastener. In this fastener, the tool working surface to which the tool works is formed in an approximately cylindrical inner surface shape.
Buckle assembly and electronic device using the same
A buckle assembly and an electronic device using the buckle assembly are provided. The buckle assembly is assembled in a housing of the electronic device. The housing has an inner surface and a column with a first through hole, wherein the column protrudes from the inner surface toward inside of the housing. The buckle assembly includes a fixing element, a shaft and a pair of retaining rings. The fixing element is assembled in the first through hole. The shaft is fixed in the housing. The retaining rings are pivoted to the shaft. Each of the retaining rings has an arc portion, and the retaining rings buckle each other and abut on the column. The arc portions are co-constructed to form a first hole communicating with the first through hole while the retaining rings buckle each other, and the fixing element is inserted in the first hole and column to be fixed in the housing.
