WALL-MOUNTABLE ACCESSORY
A wall-mountable accessory such as one which is intended for hanging in a bathroom. The wall-mountable accessory may be a robe hook, a towel bar, a grab bar, a toilet paper holder, a ledge, or the like. The wall-mountable accessory may include a solid body that is at least partially formed from a brittle material. The solid body may have a hole that extends to an opening in its outer surface. The wall-mountable accessory may also include a mounting assembly for mounting the solid body to a wall. The mounting assembly may include a standoff configured to be coupled to the wall and a fastening pin that is coupled to the standoff and has a portion that nests within the hole in the solid body. The mounting assembly may apply a compressive force onto the solid body to prevent fracture.
METHOD OF ASSEMBLING FASTENER STRUCTURE ON PLATE BODY
A method of assembling a fastener structure on a plate body is introduced. The fastener structure includes a body portion and a fastening body. The body portion has a solderable layer, and the solderable layer is soldered to a plate body. The fastening body combines movably with the body portion. The fastening body has a head and a fastening portion. The body portion or the fastening body is provided on the plate body for soldering after it is picked up by a tool so that the body portion can combine with the plate body. Also, the body portion or the fastening body combines with an assisting pickup unit, and the fastener structure is provided on the plate body for soldering after it is picked up by a tool through the assisting pickup unit so that the body portion can combine with the plate body.
TUBULAR SLEEVE
A tubular sleeve is provided, in particular for use as a force-absorbing sleeve. The sleeve includes a casing wall having a through-opening, wherein the sleeve is formed from plastic, and a modulus of elasticity of the plastic is between 15,000 MPa and 25,000 MPa.
Captive bolt assembly for utility boxes
A durable captive bolt assembly for use with subterranean utility boxes is described. The disclosed bolt assembly includes a fastener, a conical spring, a rigid washer, a deformable washer, and a bushing. The point and threads of the fastener are designed to clear debris from an internally threaded nut and reduce or eliminate cross threading, galling, and electrolysis.
Self-tapping compression limiter
A self-tapping compression limiter for a structure of an automotive vehicle. The limiter includes a body having a first end extending to a second end. The body has a bore formed through the first and second ends defining a longitudinal axis. The body has an outer wall having a shoulder radially extending from the outer wall and formed adjacent one of the first and second ends to reduce tolerance to the structure. The outer wall has a threaded portion formed about the longitudinal axis. The threaded portion is matingly cooperable with the structure to provide a positive lock interface between the limiter and the structure.
Fastener Retainer
A mounting feature for an attachable component includes a mounting tab and an integrated retaining feature. The mounting tab includes a tab body having a first end surface and a second end surface formed on an opposite side from the first end surface. A distance from the first end surface to the second end surface defines a thickness of the mounting tab. The mounting tab further includes an inner wall defining a socket having a first width that extends through the thickness of the tab body from a first end at the first end surface of the tab body to a second end at the second end surface of the mounting tab. The retaining feature is disposed within the second of the socket and includes a receptacle having a second width that is less than the first width of the socket. The receptacle is configured to capture fastener shank.
SAFETY DEVICE FOR A VEHICLE BEARING DEVICE
The present invention refers to a security device for a vehicle bearing device. (1), which is manufactured in order to increase the level of safety for the prevention of removal of a rolling medium of a motor vehicle as it can be a compact, medium-sized vehicle, pick-up, among other segments of vehicles and that includes a fixing unit (100), a mechanism for closing and opening (200), which inside has a combination core (300) which in turn has a configuration with synchrony and unique combination to obtain the opening thereof.
WATER SEALING SURFACE ATTACHMENT
A mounting assembly for securing fixtures to a mounting structure may include a first fastener, a washer, a mounting bracket, and second fastener. The first fastener may be coupled to the mounting structure through a mounting aperture. The washer may be disposed around shaft of the first fastener between a head of the first fastener and the mounting surface. The mounting bracket may be disposed on top of the first fastener. The second fastener may be disposed through the mounting bracket and coupled to head of the first fastener. The washer may be a sealing washer that dispenses liquid sealant under compressive force to moisture-proof the securement of the first fastener to the mounting surface.
Connection assembly
A connection assembly with at least one receiving module for receiving a securing element. The at least one receiving module has a chamber for receiving the respective securing element, the chamber being delimited by an inner wall, and has a first opening as well as a second opening. The two openings delimit a passage channel within the chamber, and the inner wall has at least one latching module to which the securing element is to be latched within the chamber at least temporarily after guiding the securing element along a longitudinal direction of the passage channel into the chamber through the first opening. The latched securing element is to be received completely within the chamber.
ASSEMBLY HAVING A CAPTIVE SCREW
The assembly 1 has a screw 4, an upper part and a lower part. The upper part has an upper side 17, a first hole 23, extending through the upper side 17, for pushing through the screw 4. An open diameter of the first hole 23 is larger than a diameter of the screw neck 8. The upper part 3 has a collar 24 which projects axially from the upper side 17 and is arranged around the first hole 23, and an outside diameter of the collar 24 is equal to or smaller than the diameter of the screw head 7.
