Desk with an upright partition on a work surface that supports laterally-movable attachments
A desk with an upright partition is disclosed. The upright partition connects to the work surface of the desk. The upright partition is configured to support laterally-movable attachments. Exemplary implementations may include one or more of a work surface, a left-side support structure, a right-side support structure, a core body, a working body that provides the work surface, an upright partition that supports laterally-movable attachments, one or more laterally-movable attachments, and/or other components. The one or more laterally-movable attachments can be mechanically coupled to the upright partition and are supported by the upright partition.
HEIGHT-ADJUSTABLE TABLE
The present invention relates to a height-adjustable table (1) which can assist and motivate the user to use the height-adjustable table in a manner which increases health and well-being.
HEIGHT-ADJUSTABLE TABLE
The present invention relates to an improved height-adjustable table (1) which can assist and motivate the user to use the height-adjustable table in a manner which increases health, calorie burn and well-being. The table features a communication interface for connection of a user specific device providing the control with a set of user values for that specific guest user of the height-adjustable table in order to ease the configuration of the table to fit each individual user.
ELECTRICAL OPERATING PANEL
Electrical operating unit comprising a first and a second part, where the two parts can be mutually adjusted. The Operating unit (1) comprises a first part constructed as a housing (2), which contains the electric equipment with at least one electric switch and a second part constructed as a mounting unit (3) for the first part. The two parts are interconnected about a shaft (17), so they can rotate mutually. When the operating unit is mounted the housing (2) will assume a first position, an initial position. By pressing the housing (2) it rotates about the shaft (17) and is brought into a second position, an activation position, where the switch(es) is/are activated in that they are pressed against the second part (3). With this embodiment of the operating unit the piece of furniture can be adjusted in either direction by pressing the housing (2). The housing (2), besides from functioning as a switch, can also be equipped with other switches and displays.

Hydraulic shock absorber and laboratory device
A positioning foot having a hydraulic shock absorber with a fluid-filled hollow cylinder (210), in which a piston (220) that moves axially between an advanced, spring prestressed position and a retracted position. The piston separates a front axial fluid space (214) and a rear axial fluid space (215) from one another in the hollow cylinder. Both fluid spaces are connected to one another in a fluid exchanging fashion via at least one throttle opening (223) in the piston. The piston is rigidly connected to a piston rod (221), which passes through the front fluid space and abuts a fixed stop (218) in the retracted position, in which the volume of the rear axial fluid space is minimized and the volume of the front axial fluid space is maximized. The spring prestress is dimensioned so that the weight of the device body moves the piston dampingly into the retracted position.
Exercise bicycle with a desk plate
A stationary exercise bike has an exercise bike body assembly and a desk plate assembly. The desk plate assembly includes a desk plate and a fixing seat for the desk plate. The desk plate is in slide connection with the fixing seat for the desk plate. The fixing seat for the desk plate is connected with the stationary exercise bike body assembly through a lifting assembly. The fixing seat for the desk plate can be lifted up and down relatively to the stationary exercise bike body assembly due to the connection of the lifting assembly.

Intelligent office furnishings
A system and method for communicatively pairing a mobile communication device and a furniture item, such as a desk or table, includes placing the mobile communication device in a communication zone associated with the furniture item. In response to placing the mobile communication device in the communication zone, a communication link is established between the mobile communication device and a communication circuit of the furniture item. A user interface is then displayed on a display screen of the mobile communication device to show a preset height, such as a standing or sitting height, for the furniture device. When a user selects the preset height, an actuator adjusts the furniture item to the specific height. The communication circuit may use any available wireless communication protocol or circuit.
