A convertible anchor comprises a fixture for holding an article to a friable wall and an anchoring mechanism extending from the fixture and adapted when rotated to engagingly extend into the wall for securing the fixture thereto. The fixture is selectively separable via frangible connection elements from the anchoring mechanism for allowing the fixture to be used alone with an appropriate fastener suitable for installing the fixture to a rigid structure, such as wooden components. The frangible elements are typically provided between the fixture and a proximal end of the anchoring mechanism. The nature of the vertical support to which the anchor is to be mounted is thus first determined and then, for a friable wall, the anchor is installed thereto using the anchoring mechanism or, for a more solid support, the fixture is separated from the anchoring mechanism and installed to the solid support via an appropriate fastener.

Interlocking hook assemblies for elastic straps include an elastic member 500 including a pair of similar interlocking hook devices 100 connected to each end of elastic member 501. The present disclosure provides apparatuses that are useful in hanging and/or organizing a diversity of items and materials. The apparatuses may be formed from a single piece of material, thus providing a unitary design that is able to be rapidly and easily deployed. When vertically oriented, the mutli-hook design of the apparatuses provide a useful tool for hanging items such as cords, cables, tools, and clothing. When deployed horizontally, the apparatuses may be used to effectively organize and/or secure items, for example, across a horizontal workspace. The simple design of the apparatuses disclosed herein permits them to be oriented along whatever axis is desired by the user, thus greatly increasing their utility.

A cooking splatter guard is provided that includes a surface extending up from a top edge of a cooking implement at an angle. The angle formed between a plane defined by a top edge of the cooking implement and the surface is greater than 90 degrees. The surface forms a friction fit with the top edge of the cooking implement. A cooking splatter guard is provided that includes a surface extending up from a top edge of a cooking implement at an angle.
