Fastening device
A fastening device for hanging items in a bathroom includes a cup, which is resiliently compressible and can be compressed against a surface to engage a first face of the cup to the surface. A wire is engaged to and extends from a second face of the cup. The wire is resiliently bendable so that opposed sections of the wire can be bent into a pair of hooks. The hooks can be used to support one or more articles in a fixed position relative to the surface.

An indoor camera includes: an image capturing unit; a pan mechanism configured to drive a pan motor to rotate the image capturing unit around a vertical axis; a motor holder housing the pan mechanism and having a contact surface parallel to a horizontal axis on a bottom surface; a suction cup having an internal space and formed of an elastic member, the suction cup having upper and lower openings in upper and lower portions of the internal space, respectively; and a suction cup holder fixed to the suction cup and configured to support a load of a main mechanism portion housing the image capturing unit and the pan mechanism. The lower opening is closed by an installation surface on which the suction cup is installed. The upper opening is configured to seal the internal space by supporting the contact surface by the load of the main mechanism portion.

A suction-type toy includes a main body and a suction device. FIXING AN ELEVATOR COMPONENT TO A SHAFT WALL
A method for fixing a component to an elevator system shaft wall includes: prefixing the component to the shaft wall by a self-adhesive element attached or applied to a first part of a contact surface of the component; and applying a curing adhesive layer to a second part of the contact surface between the contact surface and a fixing region of the shaft wall. The component can be a rail bracket for fixing a guide rail of the elevator system wherein the component forms the contact surface for flat fixing of the component to the shaft wall, the self-adhesive element is arranged between the first part of the contact surface and the fixing region of the shaft wall and the adhesive layer is arranged in the second part of the contact surface in a fixed state of the component to the shaft wall.

The body can include an aperture extending from a proximal side to a distal side. A stem can be positioned within the primary aperture. QUICK-RELEASE ANCHORING APPARATUS WITH ACCELERATION DAMPING
A quick-release anchoring apparatus with acceleration damping includes an anchor member configured to engage an external reference surface and form a substantially airtight seal therewith that defines a controlled pressure zone. A first auxiliary component carries the anchor member. A vent port provides fluid communication between the controlled pressure zone and an area of ambient pressure. A second auxiliary component moves relative to the first auxiliary component between a vent port closure position and a vent port open position. The second auxiliary component and the first auxiliary component are discrete components. One or more flexible members deform as the second auxiliary component moves in a venting direction away from the vent port closure position toward the vent port open position. The one or more flexible members resist accelerations of the second auxiliary component away from the vent port closure position but allow normal lifting of the anchoring apparatus.
