Linear drive assembly
A pair of wear grooves for a linear drive assembly. One wear groove is disposed on a wear plate attached to a crosshead. This wear groove is on a front edge of the wear plate, and does not intersect any lubrication groove. Another wear groove is disposed circumferentially about an inner wall of a crosshead guide. Each of the wear grooves is observable to an operator without fully disassembling the crosshead and the crosshead guide, and each is observable from a single side of the crosshead guide. Should the wear groove not be observable, the associated component should be replaced. Should the wear groove be observable, the remaining life of the component can be determined from the groove's depth.
Connecting rod assembly for reciprocating pump
A connecting rod assembly includes a crosshead for coupling a connecting rod to a plunger, the crosshead having a hole extending through the crosshead. The connecting rod assembly also includes a knuckle cage positioned within the crosshead, the knuckle cage extending through the hole and including a cutout to provide access to a passage formed in the knuckle cage. The connecting rod assembly further includes a knuckle positioned within the passage of the knuckle cage, the knuckle having a mounting surface that is substantially planar, the mounting surface coupling to the connecting rod at a mating end with a substantially planar mating end surface.

Internal combustion engine
An internal combustion engine has a uniblock that defines a blind cylinder bore that terminates within the uniblock. A piston is inserted into the cylinder bore from a bottom end of the cylinder bore. Parallel first and second vertical planes extend along first and second lateral sides of the cylinder bore. A cylinder zone being defined between the first and second vertical planes. A crosshead is coupled to the piston. A first crankshaft has a first crankshaft axis that extends parallel to the first vertical plane and that is positioned outside of the cylinder zone. A second crankshaft has a second crankshaft axis that extends parallel to the second vertical plane and that is positioned outside of the cylinder zone. The first crankshaft is coupled to the crosshead with a first connecting rod and the second crankshaft is coupled to the crosshead with a second connecting rod.

Linear drive assembly
A linear drive assembly configured for use within a power end assembly. The linear drive assembly is configured to interconnect a crankshaft and a pony rod and comprises a crosshead assembly attached to a connecting rod assembly. In one or more embodiments disclosed herein, the connecting rod assembly is configured to attach to opposite sides of the crosshead assembly so that no portion of the connecting rod assembly is disposed within an interior of a crosshead included in the crosshead assembly.
