The invention relates to a carriage of a linear motion guide for arranging on a rail of the linear motion guide, said carriage having an at least substantially U-shaped cross-section and having at least one substantially U-shaped base body (15) which is supplemented with plastic components, wherein the carriage, in both legs of the U-shape, is in each case connected to at least one self-contained rolling body housing (7) which is kept open towards the rail in order to guide as precisely as possible on the rail and nevertheless being easy to assemble. According to the invention, at least parts of inner and outer boundary surfaces of a return channel (10) and both deflection channels (11) of one of the rolling body housings in the respective leg are formed by means of a one-piece plastic component in both legs of the carriage.
Reduced weight magnetic cylinder
A magnetizable cylinder has a cylinder body formed from a magnetizable material with an outer cylindrical surface configured to receive a flexible cutting die. The cylinder body has first and second axial ends spaced apart by the outer cylindrical surface and a hollow interior. First and second journals are joined to the cylinder body with interference fits. At least one of the first and second journals has a weep hole extending through the journal into the hollow interior of the cylinder body. The interference fit of the journals to the cylinder body result from thermal changes of at least one of the first journal, the second journal, and the cylinder body prior to joining the first journal to the cylinder body and the second journal the cylinder body.

End-fitting for industrial machine rollers
An end piece suitable for forming a spacer for a roll having two concentric tubes with axis, including spokes connecting two inner and outer cylindrical portions, and is where a fluid circuit originating from the center towards the periphery includes a first circumferential groove arranged in the inner cylindrical portion and a second circumferential groove arranged in the outer cylindrical portion connected by at least one pipe, such that the end piece makes it possible to reduce the weight of the roll by approximately 20%, to facilitate the balancing of the roll while ensuring accessibility to the inside of the roll between the two tubes and to enable easy mounting without indexing due to the circumferential grooves, and where the end piece with spokes enables access to the inside of the roll when it is mounted and thus enables both more accurate balancing than with solid end pieces that require the piercing of the outer tube and the invisibility of this balancing from the outside of the roll.
