The second cam has a cam profile that, when the presser moves from the separated position to the nip position, causes the second gear to move in a direction along a second axis against urging force of the second spring to increase the urging force of the second spring.
MAINTENANCE FREE EXTENDED LIFE CAM FOLLOWER FOR A NECKER MACHINE
A cam follower for a ram of a metal can necker machine is provided. The cam follower has an outer ring and an inner ring coaxially disposed in the outer ring. A plurality of rolling elements is disposed in an annular cavity between the outer ring and the inner ring. The plurality of rolling elements is disposed between a first seal and a second seal. A shaft is received in a bore in the inner ring and is fixed relative thereto about the shaft axis. The outer ring is received in a tire. The tire has a thickness and a crown radius. The composition of the tire includes a metallic material, a plastic material, a non-metallic material, and combinations thereof.
Tripod constant velocity universal joint and method for manufacturing same
Provided is a tripod type constant velocity universal joint (1), including: an outer joint member (2) having track grooves (6) formed at trisected positions in a circumferential direction to extend in an axial direction; a tripod member (3) including leg shafts (9) radially projecting from trisected positions in the circumferential direction; and rollers (4) fitted in a freely rotatable manner about the leg shafts (9), respectively, and received in the track grooves (6), respectively, in which a radially outer surface (4a) of each of the rollers (4) is formed of a surface unsubjected to grinding or cutting work after heat treatment.
Vented fitting for pressure vessel boss
An apparatus is configured to be positioned between a boss and a shell of a pressure vessel. The boss includes a bore therethrough, and the bore has a longitudinal axis. The apparatus includes an annular body and a gas permeable feature. The annular body includes an inner surface configured to abut the boss and an outer surface configured to abut the shell. The annular body has opposite first and second ends relative to the longitudinal axis. The gas permeable feature is provided on the inner surface and extends at least from the first end to the second end. The disclosure also describes a pressure vessel including a shell, and boss, and an apparatus positioned between the boss and the shell. A method for forming a pressure vessel includes mounting a boss on a mandrel, positioning an annular fitting about a neck of the boss, forming a liner, and forming an outer shell.
Photoconductor drum, drive shaft, photoconductor drum system, image-forming apparatus, and multifunction apparatus
A photoconductor drum includes a drum body that is cylindrical, and a pair of flanges fitted to or near two axial ends of the drum body, wherein at least one of the flanges includes a plurality of engagement protrusions disposed on an inner circumferential surface of a through-hole for inserting a drive shaft for drivingly rotating the photoconductor drum, the through-hole having a larger radius than the drive shaft.
Rolling bearing for sliding door
A rolling bearing for a sliding door includes an inner ring, an outer ring, a plurality of rolling elements arranged in a rollable manner in an annular space between the inner ring and the outer ring, and a jacket member formed of a resin composition and provided so as to cover the outer peripheral surface of the outer ring. The resin composition contains polyamide 66 and glass fiber. The polyamide 66 has a number average molecular weight of 34000 to 60000. The number average molecular weight is measured by gel permeation chromatography using hexafluoroisopropanol (HFIP) as a solvent and poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) as a reference material. The content of the glass fiber is 10 to 40 mass %.
SUPPORT FOR SOLAR MODULES
A support for rotationally movable mounting of solar modules configures an outer shaft as a tube and mounts an inner shaft in it, by way of a calotte element in the end position, so that this element is accommodated in the outer shaft in longitudinally displaceable and tiltable manner, as well as in freely rotational manner, if necessary. In this way, only one roller block is required, even if two uncoupled connection shafts are to be mounted.
Powder for thermal spray, thermal spray coating film, coating film and roll in molten metal bath
A thermal spray powder is provided that contains, as constituent elements, a first element selected from W and Mo; a second element selected from Co, Ni, and Fe; a third element selected from C and B; and a fourth element formed of Si. The amount of the second element in the thermal spray powder is 40% by mole or less. The mole ratio of the fourth element to the second element in the thermal spray powder is 0.002 or greater and 0.03 or less. The thermal spray powder has a crystal phase containing Co, Ni, or Fe; W; and C or a crystal phase containing Co, Ni, or Fe; W or Mo; and B. In an X-ray diffraction spectrum of the thermal spray powder, the peak intensity attributed to Co, Ni, or Fe is at most 0.1 times the largest peak intensity in the same X-ray diffraction spectrum.

PIVOTING ASSEMBLY AND CONTAINER INCLUDING THEREOF
A pivoting assembly includes a fixing member and a rotating member. The fixing member includes a positioning portion and a limiting portion. The limiting portion has a limiting surface facing the positioning portion. The limiting surface is a curved concave surface. The rotating member is clamped between the positioning portion and the limiting surface, is configured to rotate relative to the fixing member, and has first and second abutting surfaces and an acting curved surface surrounding thereof. While the rotating member is rotating relative to the fixing member, the acting curved surface bears against and rotates relative to the limiting surface, thereby enabling the positioning portion to selectively abut one of the first abutting surface and the second abutting surface.
