The bearing sealing device includes a ring constituted by a metal annulus, and a rubber part. The metal annulus is formed by cold pressing, and has a seal contact surface kept in contact with seal lips of the outer seal. The rubber part includes a press-fitted portion fixed to the inner periphery of the outer race. The inner race has, on its outer periphery, a cylindrical fitting surface to which the outer seal is press-fitted.

Moreover, a sliding fit may be defined between the outer circumferential surface of the shaft and the inner circumferential surface of the inner race at the bearing/shaft interface such that the shaft is allowed to slide axially relative to the bearing when a given axial load is applied through the shaft.

A sleeve type bushing/bearing is assembled/pressed into a pivoting frame structure. This bearing runs on a spindle tube which is bolted rigidly to a support arm structure. The support arm structure supports the outside diameter of the spindle tube and well as clamping to the end face of the spindle tube. This support eliminates most of the shear load from being applied at the joint face to the bolt outside diameter. The larger outside diameter of the spindle tube can support more shear force through the joint allowing greater functional pressure to be applied through the joint without failure. The Joint can be easily assembled and disassembled in multiple configurations and for replacement of worn parts if needed and includes a sleeve type bearing which is maintenance free and requires no greasing or other lubrication.

The polar plate has a spill preventing portion provided thereon, the spill preventing portion having a projecting wall that is disposed distant from an end surface of the polar plate retaining the magnetic fluid, so as to prevent spill of the magnetic fluid.

A sealed bearing located between the bearing sleeve and the hub's interior surface enables relative rotation therebetween. A first sealing mechanism seals the first bore's first opening and a second sealing mechanism seals the second openings of both of the first and second bores. The first sealing mechanism includes an L-shaped ring circumscribing the bearing sleeve and a rubber sealing member. The second sealing mechanism includes a hemispherical region and flange secured to the hub by a retaining ring.
