ROCKSHAFT END CAP
An agricultural vehicle includes a frame, a wheel supporting the frame, and a rockshaft coupled to the frame and operable to pivot with respect to the frame. The rockshaft has an outer surface, an inner surface and an open end. An internal end cap is positioned on the open end of the rockshaft. The internal end cap has an inner surface and an outer surface. The inner surface of the internal end cap contacts the outer surface of the rockshaft. An external end cap is positioned on the open end of the rockshaft and contacts the outer surface of the internal end cap. A fastener connects the external end cap to the frame to retain the external end cap on the rockshaft.
HANGER BEARING ASSEMBLY
A hanger bearing assembly has a bearing enclosed within a plurality of mounting plates. The mounting plates are slidably and removably attached w supports on the interior sidewalIs of a trough.
Agricultural rolling basket bearing assembly
An agricultural tillage implement includes a frame member and at least one rolling basket assembly coupled to the frame member. The rolling basket assembly has at least one bearing hanger, at least one rolling basket and at least one bearing assembly rotationally coupling the rolling basket to the bearing hanger. The bearing assembly has a bearing with an inner ring and a spindle holding the inner ring. The spindle is coupled to the bearing hanger. The spindle being configured to accommodate dynamic misalignment of the bearing.
BEARING FOR MOUNTING THE DRIVE SHAFT OF A WORK APPARATUS IN A GUIDE TUBE, AND WORK APPARATUS INCLUDING THE BEARING
A bearing is provided for mounting the drive shaft of a work apparatus in a guide tube. The bearing includes a bearing tube defining a central axis and having a continuous bearing opening for receiving the drive shaft. The bearing opening is non-circular in at least one cross section. In the non-circular cross section, the bearing opening has first sections lying against an incircle of the bearing opening and second sections lying in the circumferential direction between the first sections. The second sections are at a distance from the incircle. The first sections are in the form of elevations whereat the inner wall of the bearing opening projects in the direction of the central axis. A work apparatus includes the bearing.
Operator Protection Apparatus with an Over-Center Linkage
Aspects hereof relate to an operator protection apparatus having at least one over-center linkage. In some aspects, an operator protection apparatus can be raised and lowered by an operator from a seated position, for example, on a terrain working vehicle. Additionally, the at least one over-center linkage may automatically lock in the operator protection apparatus in a raised position. Accordingly, a mechanical force is then required to overcome the lock, and allow the operator protection apparatus to return to a lowered position.
Lawn care vehicle with rear wheel steering assembly
A riding lawn care vehicle may include a frame and a steering assembly. Wheels of the riding lawn care vehicle may be attachable to the frame. The steering assembly may include a steering wheel operably coupled to rear wheels of the riding lawn care vehicle via a cable system. The cable system may include a first cable portion, a second cable portion and a pulley assembly. The first and second cable portions may each contact a steering column pulley at respective first ends of the first and second cable portions. The steering column pulley may be configured to pull a corresponding one of the first cable portion or the second cable portion based on a direction of rotation of the steering wheel. The first and second cable portions may each be in operable communication with a steering disc at respective second ends of the first and second cable portions. The steering disc may provide translation of movement of the first cable portion and the second cable portion into corresponding movement of the rear wheels. The pulley assembly may be configured such that each pulley of the pulley assembly handles both the first cable portion and the second cable portion as the first cable portion and the second cable portion are conveyed from the steering column pulley to the steering disc to translate motion of the steering column pulley to the steering disc.
FLEXIBLE TRANSMISSION SYSTEM FOR USE IN AGRICULTURAL MACHINES AND TOOLS IN GENERAL
A flexible transmission system having a connection element for cables, which transmit rotation from the drive shaft to the dispensers, transmission housings are used. These are arranged in a manner to allow that possible vertical oscillations of the equipment, caused by irregularities in the ground, so not to interfere in the consistency and regularity of the rotation transmission, maintaining the product deposition rate for which the machine was initially regulated, to guarantee its productivity and using, to achieve this, a reduced number of component parts. This facilitates not only the assembly but also the maintenance of the equipment, with direct consequences on its production cost.
Tilling implement and bearing assembly for use therewith
A tilling implement for use with a farm vehicle includes a frame, a tilling element attached to the frame, a bearing assembly configured to allow the tilling element to rotate relative to the frame. The bearing assembly can include a first race, a second race spaced apart from the first race to define a gap therebetween, a bearing rotatably disposed within the gap to allow relative movement between the first race and the second race, a seal including a flexible protrusion having a distal end that presses against the first race to seal off the gap, and a stop positioned adjacent to the flexible protrusion configured to prevent the distal end of the protrusion from bending towards the bearing.
