Transmission box, method of closing same and running vehicle equipped with such a box
A transmission housing (2) of the type including two housing elements (9) that can be positioned to press against each other and that in the assembled-together state define: a cavity (13); a shaft (6) projecting at least in part from the housing (2); a motion transmission mechanism (30) for transmitting motion to said shaft (6), the motion transmission mechanism (30) being housed at least in part inside the cavity (13) of the housing (2); and sealing means (15) arranged in the zone where the housing elements (9) are pressed together and referred to as a join plane (10), the sealing means (15) surrounding said cavity (13). The housing (2) comprises means (17) for connecting the housing elements (9) together by snap-fastening in order to hold the housing elements (9) pressed against each other and the sealing means (15) comprise adhesive connection means (16) for connecting said housing elements (9) together.
Harvester roller configuration
A roller is connected to a harvesting platform for movement with a combine over a ground surface in a direction of travel. The roller includes a first portion defining a first diameter and including a first material, and a second portion defining a second diameter and including a second material. The second diameter is greater than the first diameter. The second portion substantially surrounds the first portion, the second material has different material properties than the first material. The roller extends in the direction of travel and rotates about a second axis which extends generally parallel to the direction of travel.
Bearing housing
A bearing coupler assembly that has a bearing housing sized to at least partially receive a bearing assembly, the bearing housing defining a bearing axis therethrough, a shaft positioned at least partially through the bearing housing along the bearing axis, the shaft defining a shaft lip and a fastener end, the bearing assembly coupling the shaft to the bearing housing so the shaft can rotate about the bearing axis relative to the bearing housing, a fastener configured to be coupled to the fastener end of the shaft, a tone wheel positioned axially along the bearing axis between the fastener and the bearing assembly, the tone wheel having at least one indicator, a sensor coupled to the bearing housing and configured to identify when the indicator passes thereby.
AGRICULTURAL SYSTEM
An agricultural system including: an agricultural baler with a bale-forming chamber; a plunger movable in a reciprocating manner within the bale-forming chamber for compressing plant matter in the bale-forming chamber; and a driveline for moving the plunger within the bale-forming chamber. The driveline comprises at least one bearing. The agricultural system further includes a control unit configured to: receive load-data indicative of a load acting on the plunger during operation of the baler; and determine a bearing-status-signal indicative of wear status the bearing, based on the load-data.
SHAFT BEARING
[Object] To provide a shaft bearing capable of reducing rotational resistance of a drive shaft by use of a ball bearing instead of a bush (slide bearing).
[Constitution] A shaft bearing includes a bearing, a cylindrical holder, and an elastic ring. The holder is formed by combining two members divided parallel to an axial direction, and is assembled in a state where an outer peripheral part of the bearing is stored in an inner groove formed on an inner peripheral surface of the holder in a peripheral direction, and the elastic ring is stored in an outer groove formed on an outer peripheral surface of the holder in the peripheral direction.
CONCENTRATED HIGH-SPEED RIGID HUB
An extended highspeed rigid hub (EHRH) combined with a specific double roller taper bearing and tapered head bolt coupled with a coulter blade create a coulter blade assembly of great strength which functions to minimize flex at the circumference of the coulter blade. The EHRH maintains inner as well as outer bosses which support both inner and outer attachment points for the taper headed bolts to provide rigidity to the coulter blade. The double roller taper bearing adds to the rigidity equation by mitigating axial as well as radial forces exerted on the coulter blade. The coulter blade assembly, when coupled as one element to an implement, creates a rigid furrowing device capable of precise furrow construction in many challenging soil conditions.
Concentrated high-speed rigid hub
A concentrated high-speed rigid hub allows for heavier planters, high-speed planting and seeding devices in multiple and multiple challenging applications such as no-till, high cation exchange capacity (CEC) soils, compact soils, moist soils, high concentrations of stubble and or Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) crops, and cover or green crops with massive structured root systems. The hub is made of one of high strength forging steel and medium carbon cast steel, whereby the hub lessons hub flexing, hub bending, cracking and premature failure. The hub comprises rigid, heavy duty deep bosses or gussets which increase structural strength and maximize the strength of attachment points adapted for either bolts or rivets attachment to a blade or object.
