Method for operating a roller bearing assembly, and roller bearing device therefor

A roller bearing device (1) and to a method for operation thereof, including a roller bearing (2) having roller contacts (6, 7) in contact with a medium and lubricated by the liquid medium (10). In order to improve the lubrication and load capacity of such a medium-lubricated roller bearing (2) while simultaneously improving the biologically compatible behavior, a biologically neutral additive material (13) that thickens the medium is held available in a holding device (14) and metered to the roller contacts (6, 7) on demand.

Telescopic arm for a refuse vehicle
09556898 · 2017-01-31 · ·

A telescopic side arm for a refuse vehicle has an inner and outer boom. A mounting assembly secures the outer boom with a refuse vehicle. A plurality of bearing pads is positioned between the inner and outer booms to provide smooth movement between the inner and outer booms. A plurality of shims is associated with the bearing pads to assure a tight fit between the inner and outer booms.

SUPPORT ROLLER BEARING REGREASING ARRANGEMENT FOR HIGH LOAD CRANK ASSEMBLY

A crank assembly for displacing a load includes a motor and a displacement arm assembly. The motor includes a rotatable output shaft that defines a rotation axis. The displacement arm assembly includes a swingable crank arm and a support roller bearing. The swingable crank arm is coupled to the output shaft to swing about the rotation axis when the output shaft rotates. The swingable crank arm defines a pivot end adjacent the rotation axis and an opposite displacement end. The support roller bearing is rotatably supported on the swingable crank arm proximate the displacement end. The support roller bearing is configured to engage the load. The support roller bearing defines a bearing axis, which is substantially parallel to and offset from the rotation axis.

HORIZONTAL WRAPPING MACHINE

A wrapping machine for wrapping a film around a product includes a supporting frame, a rotating ring rotatably supported by the supporting frame, supporting wheels fixed to the supporting frame to rotatably support the rotating ring, an unwinding unit fixed to the rotating ring, and a drive system to rotate the rotating ring and having a flexible element wrapped around the external peripheral edge of the rotating ring. The external peripheral edge of the rotating ring has first and second annular portions. Each supporting wheel has an annular guide groove to receive and engage the first annular portion. The second annular portion is provided with an annular seat suitable to receive the flexible element and having a second external diameter smaller than a first external diameter of the first annular portion.

BEARING APPARATUS, PARTICULARLY RAIL BEARING FOR A CRANEWAY

A bearing apparatus has a mounting element for mounting a construction element of a steel construction, a base element to be fastened to a supporting structure and an adjustable compensation device for adjusting a height position and an angular position of the mounting element relative to the base element and supporting the mounting element at the base element in direction of a virtual main axis. The compensation device comprises a mechanical series connection of a lockable articulated joint arrangement and a supporting column. The unlocked articulated joint arrangement allows the mounting element to be pivoted relative to the base element about any pivot axis orthogonally intersecting the main axis. The supporting column has a length which is variable by screwing an inner column in an outer column of the supporting column. A screwed-in position of the supporting column is fixed by the construction element mounted to the mounting element.

Arrangement for detecting bearing failures in elevator

An arrangement for detecting bearing failures in an elevator system, which elevator system includes a hoisting machinery with a traction sheave on a rotary shaft, an elevator car, a counterweight and a hoisting element connected between the car and the counterweight and arranged to be moved by the a rotation of the traction sheave, and which arrangement includes at least a motion sensor for measuring rotation of the hoisting motor. The arrangement includes a signal processing unit connected to the motion sensor and arranged to process vibration signals originated in the bearings of the elevator system.

Method for determining a bearing friction
12474233 · 2025-11-18 · ·

A method of determining a bearing friction is to be applied to an arm system of a crane arm having a first crane arm and a second crane arm. The second crane arm, at least in some regions, is mounted displaceably and/or articulatedly in or on the first crane arm via a bearing point. In a first capturing method step (i), at least one first value is captured. In a drive method step (ii), at least the second crane arm is moved relative to the first crane arm. In a second capturing method step (iii), at least one second value is captured. In an evaluation method step (iv), the bearing friction of the bearing point is characterized by evaluating the at least one first value and the at least one second value.
