Furniture and building structures comprising sensors for determining the position of one or more objects
A system, device and method for determining the position of objects comprising one or more furniture items and/or building structures having one or more sensors and a controller coupled to the sensors. The sensors detect when one or more objects having at least one sensor tag are positioned proximate one of the sensors and transmit a signal to the controller including an identifier of the object and the sensor that detected the objects. As a result, the controller is able to track the position of the objects in relation to the furniture and/or building structures preventing the items from being lost and increasing efficiency when looking for misplaced objects.
Curved display and curved display support
A workstation assembly comprising an emissive surface assembly including a substantially contiguous emissive surface on which visual content may be presented, the emissive surface assembly including emissive surface sections including first and second substantially flat emissive surface sections wherein one of the first and second flat sections is substantially horizontal and the other of the first and second flat sections is at least somewhat vertical, first and second curved surface sections that are curved about first and second non-parallel axis, the first curved section positioned between and adjacent the first and second flat surface sections, the second curved section adjacent an edge of the first substantially flat emissive surface section, each of the curved and flat surface sections forming a portion of the substantially contiguous emissive surface, a support structure and a driver.
Bracket for mounting adjustable-height leg
An assembly is disclosed having a panel forming part of a modular wall for dividing workspaces in an office, the panel having at least two channels formed therein; a desk surface; an adjustable-height leg, having an outer shell, a top casting for engagement with the desk surface and an actuator disposed within the outer shell for adjusting the height of the leg; and first and second brackets, said first bracket engaged with an upper end of the outer shell of the adjustable height leg and one of the channels formed in the panel and said second bracket engaged with a lower end of the outer shell of the adjustable height leg and the other channel formed in the panel and wherein the adjustable-height leg is supported by the first and second brackets and does not contact a floor surface underlying the panel.
MODULAR FURNITURE APPARATUS, SYSTEM, AND METHOD OF USING
A modular furniture apparatus comprising: a cabinet having a cuboid shape having a flat top; a support component comprising a unitary body frame structure; a desktop panel having a flat upper surface and a flat opposing lower surface releasably connected to said top surface of said cabinet and said frame via suction cups.

Mobile battery powered workstation
Disclosed are mobile battery powered workstations, methods of operating these workstations to increase warehouse and retail efficiency (through improved order fulfillment, as a mobile shipping & receiving station, mobile inventory management, and/or as mobile powered quality analysis stations), and methods of calculating remaining battery runtime for these workstations. A mobile battery powered workstation may comprise a wheeled base having a modular battery power bay, an upper workstation having a monitor, a computer, a printer, and at least one adjustable height column coupling the wheeled base to the upper workstation. The workstation may also include a glass overlay display positioned on a top surface of the upper workstation area and configured to provide order fulfillment employees with haptic feedback on remaining battery runtime, calculated via an algorithm for increased accuracy. These workstations may be used in warehouses and retail operations for order picking and fulfillment, shipping and receiving tasks, etc.
MULTI-TIERED WORKSTATION ASSEMBLY
A multi-tiered work arrangement includes stacked horizontal planar surfaces that have footprints that enable stacking of the planar surfaces to provide work surfaces that are easily accessible to a user in both a sitting and a standing position. A first work surface can have a wide end and a narrow end, and a second work surface can have corresponding narrow and wide ends. The wide end of the first planar surface is substantially equivalent in length to the narrow end of the second planar surface such that the work surfaces can be stacked in use, providing two unobstructed work surfaces at different heights.
Collapsible stand
A collapsible stand for includes a base unit and top surface for supporting and elevating various articles to be accessible from a standing position. The base unit and top surface are assembled in an interlocking fashion that can be easily convertible from a storage configuration to a use configuration.

Wall work station
A work station comprises a mounting bracket adapted to be mounted to a surface. An upper arm and a lower arm are mounted to the mounting bracket for pivoting motion about a first vertical axis. A track is pivoted to the upper arm and the lower arm about a second vertical axis where the track supports a vertically displaceable carriage. The carriage may support a monitor and work platform where the work platform supports a key board tray. A lift system supports the carriage for vertical movement. Work station mounting systems are also provided for movably supporting a work platform.
