The spring finger ring includes an outer ring positioned radially exterior to the outer ring, an inner ring positioned radially interior to the outer ring, and a plurality of spring fingers extending between the inner and outer rings. One or more spring fingers configured as two-sided spring fingers including a first ligament coupled to the outer ring and extending at a first circumferential angle to a first radial bumper proximate to the inner ring and a second ligament coupled to the inner ring and extending at a different second circumferential angle to a second radial bumper proximate to the outer ring. The first and second radial bumpers define first and second radial gaps between the bumpers and the inner and outer rings, respectively.

Bearing with an eccentric seal groove

A pump bearing for use in a gear pump including a top face, a side face perimetrically surrounding the top face, a bottom face opposed to the top face, a first bearing bore projecting from the top face to the bottom face defining an axis and configured to contain a drive-side shaft, and a groove within the side face located between the top face and the bottom face a variable depth in a direction perpendicular to the axis configured to a receive seal.

ROLLING BEARING, PARTICULARLY HYBRID ROLLING BEARING FOR REFRIGERANT COMPRESSOR

A rolling bearing having an inner raceway and an outer raceway and a plurality of rolling elements arranged therebetween. The rolling bearing is media-lubricated or oil-free lubricated. The lubricant forms an elasto-hydrodynamic lubricant film between the rolling elements and the raceways. At first use of the rolling bearing, at least one surface of the rolling bearing is coated with a protective fluid, preferably an oil-based preservative fluid. Also, a refrigerant compressor having such a rolling bearing.

Air blower for vehicle

A vehicle air compressor including a shaft provided with an impeller disposed at one side thereof and a runner disposed at the other side thereof, a motor configured to rotate the shaft, a trust bearing which supports the shaft in a longitudinal direction of the shaft and of which a surface is disposed adjacent to a surface of the runner, wherein a cooling hole for cooling air between the trust bearing and the runner is disposed in the trust bearing.

Variable guide bearing

A guide bearing system including a pad adjuster to traverse at least one bearing in a direction to adjust a radial clearance. The system can further include a sensor for measuring deviations in the radial clearance. In some embodiments, the guide bearing system includes a controller that receives a distance signal from the sensor measuring the radial clearance and signals the pad adjuster to traverse the at least one bearing to compensate for the deviations in the radial clearance.

POSITIVE DISPLACEMENT PUMP INCLUDING A PLAIN BEARING FOR COMPONENTS EXPERIENCING AN OSCILLATING MOTION AT LOW SPEEDS

A positive displacement pump of this disclosure includes a plain bearing comprising a composite material located between a first component that may experience an oscillating motion at low speed (or at low speed and high loads) and a second component located about the first. The pump may be a mud pump configured to circulate a drilling fluid into and out of a well bore during an oil/gas well drilling operation. The first component may be a wrist pin of a crosshead and the second component may be an end of a connecting rod. The composite material may be a bearing grade material that is self-lubricating and wet or contaminant tolerant or resistant. The composite material may include polyketone. In retrofit or new applications, the plain bearing may include a sleeve containing a liner made of the composite material. No external lubrication may be required, eliminating the need for lubricating structures.

Foil bearing assembly including perforated inner foil assembly and compressor including same

A bearing system includes a bearing housing and a foil bearing assembly. The bearing housing includes a sleeve defining a cylindrical bore, and a mounting structure for connecting the bearing system to a compressor housing. The foil bearing assembly is positioned within the cylindrical bore and includes an outer foil assembly, an inner foil assembly, and a bump foil assembly positioned between the outer and inner foil assemblies. The bump foil assembly includes a plurality of bump foils disposed circumferentially about the inner foil assembly. Each bump foil is coupled to the outer foil assembly at a respective land and spaced circumferentially from an adjacent bump foil to define a gap therebetween. The inner foil assembly includes a cylindrical inner surface defining a plurality of openings extending radially therethrough. Each opening is radially aligned with one of the lands or one of the gaps between adjacent bump foils.

A turbine generator contains a turbine part and a generator part. The turbine contains a turbine wheel. A sealing arrangement is arranged between the turbine wheel and the generator part, the sealing effect of which varies during operation. The generator part further has a generator shaft, which is supported by an axial bearing configured as a magnetic bearing with two coils axially spaced apart from each other. A bearing ring is arranged between these coils with an axial distance from the coils. To ensure a safe operation, a setpoint value for the axial distance is varied to change the sealing effect of the sealing arrangement. Alternatively or additionally, it is provided that when a current threshold of a coil current is exceeded, a control signal is emitted to control the flow of the medium or the rotational speed.
