LINEAR MOTION GUIDE UNIT
20180347626 · 2018-12-06 ·

In the linear motion guide unit, a retainer plate for retaining rolling elements, or rollers, is prevented from deformation so as to smoothly guide the rollers. The retainer plate is composed of a retainer member, frame members fitted into respective through holes formed in the retainer member, and a fixing member disposed in a longitudinally extending recess of the retainer member. The frame members form a predetermined gap between the fixing member and a carriage. Tightening forces of fastening bolts are not applied to the retainer member, thereby avoiding deformation of the retainer member.

Surveying device having ball-point bearing

In a surveying device having a base for positioning the surveying device and a pitch component having an optical beam path for surveying a target, the pitch component is radially and axially mounted and is rotatable in relation to the yaw component in a yaw component, which is movable in relation to the base, on the basis of a rotation body chucked in a self-centering manner in two cavities.

Disclosed is a flexible-pivot mechanical component of the type with separate intersecting blades, particularly for timepieces. The mechanical component includes an attachment portion and a movable portion that are connected by first and second resilient blades that intersect in a contactless manner at an intersecting point. The flexible-pivot mechanical component is combined with an adjustment unit making it possible to adjust the position of the intersecting point.

AIR BEARING WITH VARIABLE AIR DELIVERY

An air bearing for movably bearing at least two elements includes a bearing main body with a first air outflow channel and a second air outflow channel. The first air outflow channel is supplied with air via at least one first air delivery device. The second air outflow channel is supplied with air via at least one second air delivery device. A sensor detects at least one of a bearing stroke, a bearing pressure, and a bearing throughflow, and a controller adjusts the supply of the air to at least one of the first air outflow channel and the second air outflow channel in accordance with the at least one of the bearing stroke, the bearing pressure, and the bearing throughflow.

RHEOMETER HAVING A GAS BEARING

A rheometer has a shaft, which is supported rotatably in a gas bearing. The gas bearing has a first bearing element (rotor) attached to the shaft and a second bearing element (stator) that surrounds the first bearing element (rotor) with a distance between the two, forming a bearing gap. At least sections of the second bearing element (stator) are made from a gas-permeable material, and gas is passed through them in such manner that a gas cushion is formed in the bearing gap, by which the first bearing element (rotor) and the shaft are supported without direct contact between the two. It is provided that the first bearing element (rotor) is also made from a gas-permeable material, at least in the areas that face the second bearing element (stator), and which the gas penetrates and forms a preferably static gaseous layer close to the surface as a result of the dynamic pressure or backpressure of the gas.

Scanning measuring device with thermally neutral axis

A scanning measuring device, in particular a laser scanner, profiler, total station or tracker, comprising at least a base for the placement of the device, a housing mounted on the base, a shaft mounted in the housing such that it can rotate about an axis of rotation and bearing a beam deflection unit in a rotationally fixed manner, a beam generating unit, which generates a transmitted beam which is transmitted into the environment by the beam deflection unit, a beam receiving unit, which receives a received beam reflected from the environment, a controllable positioning means which drives the shaft, wherein the shaft is supported by at least one pair of angular contact rolling bearings set in an O arrangement, and the angular contact rolling bearings are arranged on the shaft such that the rolling contact lines of the associated angular contact rolling bearings meet substantially on the axis of rotation.

A T-film bearing for a vibration fixture including a bottom plate, two spaced apart middle plates positioned on the bottom plate, two spaced apart top plates positioned on the middle plates in which the middle plates and the top plates form a T-shaped linear channel for movement of a T-shaped guide member of a slip plate, and oil distribution grooves positioned on a top surface of each of the top plates and the bottom plate defining an independent pressure area, and each groove having a dedicated flow restrictor for supplying lubricating oil to the groove for lubricating reciprocating travel of the guide member within the linear channel and the slip plate on the top plates.

Magnetic and/or electrostatic pivot

A method for orienting a timepiece component including ferromagnetic material, where, on both ends of this component, two magnetic fields each attract it onto a pole piece, with an unbalance in the intensity of these fields around this component, in order to create a differential in the forces thereon and to press one of these ends onto a contact surface of one of the pole pieces, and to hold the other end at a distance from the other pole piece. A magnetic pivot includes such a component with two ends. It includes a guide device with surfaces of two pole pieces each generating a magnetic field attracting one of these ends, the magnetic forces exerted on the two ends being of different intensity, in order to attract only one end into contact with only one of these pole piece surfaces.

Bearing Limiter Structures In Optical Image Stabilization Suspensions

A suspension assembly is described. A suspension assembly including a support member; a moving member; one or more bearings; and one or more bearing limiters.
