In a second environment, a driven member has a magnetic coupling with a driven member pitch substantially corresponding to the thread pitch. The magnetic coupling is coupled to a portion of threads and rotation of the driving screw displaces the magnetic coupling with respect to the driving screw.

Overrunning alternator damping pulley

The present patent application discloses an overrunning alternator damping pulley. The overrunning alternator damping pulley includes a pulley body, two ball bearings provided on both ends of a shaft hole of the pulley body; and a hub for supporting the two ball bearings. At least one spring holder is provided on the hub. At least one friction spring is installed on the spring holder. One end of the friction spring is inserted to the spring holder. Another end of the friction spring forms a free end spirally extending along an axial direction of the hub. The outer ring of the friction spring is in contact with an inner wall of the pulley body. A damping groove corresponding to the friction spring is provided on the inner wall of the pulley body.

An impact spring is disposed in which the pair of the left and right arc springs face each other and has a spring constant value set with a threshold torque based on an instant speed change of the crank shaft.

Adjoining the disc section (19) there is a bushing section (20) which is concentric to the toothing region (17), overlaps the latter in the axial direction and is held interlockingly between a cylindrical edge section (21), which is thick-walled in comparison with the bushing section (20), of the housing component (4) and an intrinsically rigid component (22) which is likewise solid in comparison with the flanged bushing (18).

A transmission shaft is provided comprising an input side for inputting torque, an output side for outputting torque, and a rod extending in a longitudinal direction between the input side and the output side to transfer torque along the transmission shaft. The rod comprises a first end provided at the input side, a second end provided at the output side and a torsional compliant section extending therebetween providing the transmission shaft with a torsional stiffness. The torsional compliant section comprises a cross-section which extends in the longitudinal direction to define a central core for transmitting torque directly from the first end to the second end and a radially outer section. This section also comprises a plurality ribs which extend radially and longitudinally from an outer periphery of the central core for increasing transverse stiffness of the rod.
