Power generation device and shaft coupling device with elastic member used therein
A power generation device includes: a one-way clutch which is provided between an output shaft of a speed increaser and a drive shaft of a power generator, and which restricts relative rotation of the output shaft and the drive shaft in one direction and permits relative rotation thereof in another direction; and a plurality of elastic coupling members which are provided between the output shaft and the drive shaft, which are spaced in an axial direction, and which absorb misalignment between the output shaft and the drive shaft. The one-way clutch is disposed in a position axially outside an area between the plurality of elastic coupling members.
Drive Drain for Wind Turbine with Elastic Coupling, Wind Turbine and Methods
A drive train for a wind turbine includes a rotor shaft configured to be driven by a rotor about a main axis, and a support structure including a bearing housing surrounding at least one bearing and supporting the rotor shaft for rotation about the main axis to constrain other movements of the rotor shaft. A gearbox input shaft and housing supports the gearbox input shaft for rotation while constraining other movements of the gearbox input shaft. The gearbox input shaft is coupled to the rotor shaft by an elastic coupling comprising a first coupling part rigidly connected with the rotor shaft, a second coupling part rigidly connected with the gearbox input shaft, and elastic elements positioned between the first and the second coupling part to provide a single joint between the rotor shaft and the gearbox input shaft.
Isolator with dual springs
In an aspect, an isolator is provided, comprising a hub, a pulley, an isolation spring and a transition spring. The hub defines an axis and is connectable to a rotatable shaft of a rotary device. The pulley is rotatably mounted to the hub. The isolation spring and transition spring act in series in a torque path between the pulley and the hub. The isolation spring has a first spring rate. The transition spring has a second spring rate that is lower than the first spring rate.
Offset shaft bearing assembly
An offset shaft bearing assembly includes a drive shaft extending through an outer housing. The drive shaft centerline is at an angle to the centerline of the outer housing. The shaft is coupled to the outer housing by radiused conical bearings which act as thrust and radial bearings. At least one of the radiused conical bearings is offset from the centerline of the outer housing. The radiused conical bearings may include a curved bearing surface, allowing the radiused conical bearings to operate despite angular misalignment.
Assembly with an electric machine
Constructional unit includes an electric machine with a stator and with a rotatable rotor, a rotatable output element operatively communicates with the rotor to transmit torque, and an offset arrangement. The offset arrangement is arranged between the rotor and the output element, and the transmission of torque is enabled in case of an axial offset and/or an angular offset between a rotational axis of the rotor and a rotational axis of the output element.

FLEXIBLE COUPLING ASSEMBLY
A flexible coupling assembly for a power transmission system including a first shaft defining an axis, configured for connecting to a first rotating member, the first shaft adjoining and passing through a first flexible diaphragm coupling and lockably connecting to a quill shaft by a locking flange and the quill shaft being configured for connecting to a second rotating member, including a first mating portion for receiving the locking flange of the first shaft within a circumferential opening, wherein the quill shaft is disposed within a primary diaphragm coupling shaft.
Uncoupling pulley with offset clutch
Uncoupling pulley having a longitudinal axis, and including a wheel rim having a first zone, to receive a belt connecting the wheel rim to a first power transmission element, and second zone situated in the axial extension along the direction defined by the longitudinal axis of the pulley, of the first zone; a hub to be secured to a second power transmission element; one of the power transmission elements being driving, and the other being driven; a ring mounted below the second zone of the wheel rim and around the hub, so the ring can rotate, around the longitudinal axis, relative to the wheel rim and/or the hub; an elastically deformable element mounted between the hub and the ring; and a unidirectional clutch having an end fastened to the ring and the remaining part of which is mounted below the second zone of the wheel rim and above the ring.
Flexible spinning scroll coupling device
A flexible coupling device for a spinning or co-rotating scroll device and associated systems and methods are provided. The coupling device may be configured to couple a first scroll and a second scroll of a co-rotating scroll device. Further, a first scroll shaft of the first scroll and a second scroll shaft of the second scroll are maintained in parallel misalignment by the coupling device. The coupling device may comprise a coupling ring and a plurality of connecting members extending from the coupling ring. Each connecting member includes a flexure arm configured to elastically move or flex between a first flexed position and a second flexed position which contributes to maintaining the parallel misalignment between the first scroll shaft and the second scroll shaft.
Torsional vibration damper with an interlocked isolator
A crankshaft damper-isolator that includes a hub having an outer radial surface and an outermost radial surface spaced radially outward from the outer radial surface and thereby defining an annular receptacle therebetween, a pulley body having a belt engaging portion radially-concentric about the hub and a face guard that terminates in a central bore seated about the outer radial surface of the hub, a damper assembly disposed between the outermost radial surface of the hub and belt engaging portion of the pulley body, a back plate fastened to the hub, a first elastomeric isolator member encapsulated and interlocked in compression between the annular receptacle of the hub and a front face of the face guard of the pulley body, and a second elastomeric isolator member encapsulated and interlocked in compression between the back plate and a back face of the face guard of the pulley body.
