A shampoo support apparatus and method for use of the same are disclosed. In one embodiment of the shampoo support apparatus, a body is configurable between a reclining configuration and a booster seat configuration. In the reclining configuration, the body provides a neck support and a back support. A support structure that may be placed above the body and may be adjustable is configured to accept and secure a smart device thereat and support the smart device at a smart device working distance from the neck support. In the booster seat configuration, the body folds into a rectangular shape to provide a seat.

A notebook computer leg support apparatus for securing a notebook computer on one leg includes a base and a pair of foldable legs coupled to the base. Each leg is hingingly coupled to the base left side and the base right side, respectively, and moves between an extended position substantially perpendicular to the base and a folded position adjacent a base bottom side. The legs in the extended position are configured to receive a user's thigh therebetween. An arm has an arm proximal end hingingly coupled to the base backside adjacent the base top side, an arm distal end, an arm left edge, an arm right edge, an arm inner side, and an arm outer side. The arm distal end is hooked and configured to secure a screen of a notebook computer. The arm moves between a use position and a store position.

An automobile, includes: a table stowed at a ceiling of a vehicle cabin; and a table raising and lowering apparatus configured to, resulting from a predetermined operation, raise and lower the table between a usage position at a seat front side of a vehicle occupant seated on a vehicle seat and a stowage position at which the table is stowed at the ceiling.

According to some embodiments, a portable computer desk may be worn by a user to allows a user to stand and be mobile at the same time. The portable computer desk comprises a shoulder harness coupled to an adjustable extension rod. A waist harness is also coupled to the extension rod. A platform is coupled to the extension rod.

A portable music stand extender may include extendable arms constructed and arranged to expand and retract. The portable music stand extender may extend such that a user may position books, sheets, or printed paper in an upright position for ease of visibility. The portable music stand extender may retract when not in use to reduce the size of the extender and increase portability.

There is disclosed a portably suspended retractable shelf for storing furniture-side items that includes a horizontal platform having an inner portion and an outer portion. In various embodiments, the inner portion is adapted to be slidably captured between an upper cushion and a lower supporting structure. At least one of a projector insert rotationally adjustable to a plurality of orientations and the following upward-facing compartments is disposed on the outer portion of the horizontal platform and is accessible to a user on the furniture: a collapsible basin, a hanging flexible pocket, and a foldable box. A cutout hole is configured to hold the projector insert or the compartments in a suspended configuration through the shelf. A downward-facing sliding drawer compartment is mounted and/or supported underneath the outer portion of the shelf. A tray holds a media device in a substantially facedown position. The tray may have a transparent bottom surface or a window, permitting content on the media device to be viewed from below, through the transparent surface or window. The tray may optionally be angled, at a fixed or adjustable angle, for optimal orientation during viewing. The tray may be secured to a wall, cabinet, table, or other surface or object, either in a fixed or adjustable position. The tray may include a lip around its edges, to ensure that the media device does not slide off during normal operation. Optionally, additional mechanisms can be provided to further secure the media device within the tray; these can include, for example, elastic strap(s), hook-and-loop fastener(s), adhesive fastener(s), magnet(s), tension clip(s), spring(s), a lid, and/or the like. The tray may also include cutouts to enable access to features of the media device.

A music stand includes a plate having a through hole, a first member configured to be disposed on one side of a front surface or a back surface of the plate and having a projecting portion configured to be passed through the through hole, and a second member configured to be disposed on another side of the front surface or the back surface of the plate and having a recessed portion corresponding to the projecting portion.

In some embodiments a portable stand for supporting portable electronic devices when the portable stand is resting on a flat surface includes a panel-shaped top piece and a panel-shaped bottom piece. The top and the bottom pieces are configured to be interlocked to form an interlocking structure with an X shape when viewed via a view substantially orthogonal to the flat surface when resting on the flat surface in a first position. The interlocking structure is configured to be interchangeably positioned in the first position for presenting a support structure for supporting a laptop computer and at least one of a second position for presenting a tablet slot for supporting a tablet computer, or a third position for presenting an e-reader slot for supporting at least an e-reader.

A center console for a motor vehicle includes a tray (11) which can be deployed in the direction of the vehicle dashboard. The tray is mounted on top of a generally rectangular base portion (10) which provides storage space, accessible by pivoting upward the tray components and a cover (1), both of which are hinged (6, 28, 30) on an upper rear lip of the box. The tray includes panels (113, 114) which slide out to left and right to provide a larger support surface for papers, food and/or beverages. A support leg (116) under the forwardly extending tray can pivot (13, 117) to a diagonal orientation, engaging with a front face of the base portion (10), to provide additional support and bearing capacity to the deployed tray (111).
