Origami armrest
A portable armrest is manually convertible between a deployed configuration and a folded configuration and includes a lap portion, an arm portion, and a support portion. The support portion vertically spaces the arm portion from the lap portion when the lap portion is positioned on the lap of a seated user with the armrest in a deployed configuration, and the weight of an extended arm of the user is transferred to the lap when the arm is rested on the arm portion. The armrest is formed as a segmented panel including a plurality of rigid segments interconnected into a unitary piece by flexible joints along the perimeter of each segment. The deployed armrest enables users to relax their extended arms while bringing a handheld device into viewing range without lowering their heads. The armrest can be folded into a small packaging space for portability.
PLAY TABLE WITH TABLET ADJUSTOR MECHANISM
A play table includes a base member, a door member, and a rotatable adjustor mechanism for securely holding items of different sizes on the play table. The base member includes side walls and a top wall extending between the side walls to form a storage compartment therein. The top wall includes a recessed, exterior, working surface. The door member is hingedly connected to one of the side walls for selectively opening and closing the storage compartment. The adjustor mechanism is rotatably attached to the top wall and includes an upper retention member, a lower mounting member, and a spring-loaded shaft member. The adjustor mechanism is spring-loaded to provide a biasing force against the item placed on the working surface to securely hold the item on the play table.
Notebook computer lap table
A notebook computer lap table for facilitating portable use of a notebook computer with an external keyboard includes a pair of platforms comprising a base platform and a shelf platform. A support assembly comprises a left support and a right support coupled to an upper side of the base platform adjacent a left edge and a right edge, respectively. The base platform is configured to receive a notebook computer between the left support and the right support. The support assembly is configured to extend above the keyboard of the notebook computer. The shelf platform has a closed position resting on the support assembly parallel with the base platform over the keyboard and an alternate open position. The shelf platform in the closed position is configured to support an external keyboard.
Detachable bedside table for mattress assembly
A bedside table to be arranged in an area of a folding side extension of a mattress assembly. The bedside table includes a surface suitable for receiving or storing at least one object and apparatus for releasably attaching the surface of the bedside table to the folding lateral extension of the mattress assembly, such that the surface of the bedside table can be releasably attached to the mattress assembly even when the lateral extension is being folded or it is already folded.

Dine and draw child lap tray apparatus
A two-part tray apparatus that includes a base tray having a desk surface for drawing and writing and a food tray having four food compartments. A resilient bottom of the base tray may rest on a lap. The food tray is nestable into the base tray and is nonslideable relative to the base tray. The base tray includes a proximal side with no upwardly extending walls to make it easy for a child to write or draw on the desk surface. Strap units are included to anchor opposite ends of the tray apparatus or may be connected to each other to form a full length shoulder strap.
Portable work support and keyboard/mouse tray and work station and tethered chair
A portable work support device and support for a key board and a pointing device, such as a mouse, for use by occupants of reclining capable office chairs having an adjustable fitted footrest assembly connected to the chair that will provide the seated chair user the ability to achieve a desired pelvis/feet triangulation stabilization effect while reclined by having the seated user's feet placed correctly in an attached footrest thereby producing a tactile input or cue that will lead to the desired muscle or motor output, causing the seated user to actually sit all the way back in the chair, and to be in a posture biomechanically neutral for using and working on the portable work support device, a work station removably housing the portable work support device, and a foot rest assembly to which a chair can be tethered so that a computer user can be properly positioned in a reclining position in the chair and have reduced posture issues when using the work support device while using computer or like equipment.
Patient Support Apparatus Having An Extension
A patient support apparatus having a support structure with a primary support surface for a patient, and an extension manually movable by a user relative to the support structure from a stowed position to an extended position so that the extension provides auxiliary support for the patient in the extended position. A locking device is operable to releasably hold the extension relative to the support structure in the stowed position and the extended position. A release mechanism is operable to manipulate the locking device to release the extension for movement relative to the support structure, and is movable with the extension from the stowed position to the extended position.
Patient Support Apparatus Having A Telescoping Assembly
A patient support apparatus comprising a base, an intermediate frame arranged for movement relative to the base, a support deck disposed on the intermediate frame to provide support for a patient, and a telescoping assembly operatively attached to the intermediate frame. The telescoping assembly comprises a support movable between a collapsed position and an extended position, a lock operable to releasably hold the support in the extended position, and an accessory manually movable by a user relative to the support between a stowed position and a use position. The accessory comprises a deactivator operable to deactivate the lock remotely from the user in response to the user manually moving the accessory relative to the support toward the stowed position thereby enabling movement of the support from the extended position to the collapsed position.
