A supinely reading stand which barely blocks the text of the book, barely interferes with the sight of the eyes, and is more simply constructed, easy in assembly and lower-cost. The supinely reading stand comprises a book-supporting structure. The book-supporting structure comprises a four-sided frame and at least one tension-resistant thin line distributed in the inner area of the four-sided frame. The four-sided frame includes first opposite sides and second opposite sides. The tension-resistant thin line(s) is/are connected to the first opposite sides of the four-sided frame in tension state.

A portable activity tray for children is provided. The activity tray includes a first compartment and a second compartment. The first compartment provides a plurality of pockets for storing various items and also provides an activity surface for a child to play, draw and work on. An integrated cup holder is provided. The second compartment includes a removable foam pad making placement of the tray on a child's lap comfortable while simultaneously providing a hard layer for the activity surface that is suitable for writing and drawing. Backpack straps are provided for carrying the tray easily and comfortably while a chest strap serves to stabilize the tray while in use. A portable music stand extender may include extendable arms constructed and arranged to expand and retract. The portable music stand extender may extend such that a user may position books, sheets, or printed paper in an upright position for ease of visibility. The portable music stand extender may retract when not in use to reduce the size of the extender and increase portability.

A patient support apparatus having a support structure with a primary support surface for a patient, and an extension manually movable by a user relative to the support structure from a stowed position to an extended position so that the extension provides auxiliary support for the patient in the extended position. A locking device is operable to releasably hold the extension relative to the support structure in the stowed position and the extended position. A release mechanism is operable to manipulate the locking device to release the extension for movement relative to the support structure, and is movable with the extension from the stowed position to the extended position.

An article of manufacture includes a body, a write on-surface provided on the body, a cover movable to selectively cover and uncover the write-on surface, a strap attached to the body, and a writing implement holder disposed on a surface of one of the strap, the body and the cover, the writing implement holder operable to releaseably secure a writing implement.

The present invention comprises an apparatus (1) for arranging a file (2) above a keyboard (4) which is located on a desk (3) comprising a base (5), a slide (6) and an inclined support (7) for supporting the file (2), wherein the support (7) is mounted on the slide (6) and the base (5) is adapted to be arranged on the desk (3) and/or on the keyboard (4) and to guide the inclined support (7) above the keyboard (4) during a horizontal motion of the slide with respect to the base (5) from a front position to a back position, wherein an arrestor is provided in the front position.

The present invention comprises an apparatus (1) for arranging a file (2) above a keyboard (4) which is located on a desk (3) comprising a base (5), a slide (6) and an inclined support (7) for supporting the file (2), wherein the support (7) is mounted on the slide (6) and the base (5) is adapted to be arranged on the desk (3) and/or on the keyboard (4) and to guide the inclined support (7) above the keyboard (4) during a horizontal motion of the slide with respect to the base (5) from a front position to a back position, wherein an arrestor is provided in the front position.

A deployable table apparatus for a vehicle includes a support arm and a carrier member. The carrier member is mounted to the support arm and is movable between a retracted position and an extended position. A table is mounted to the carrier member and is pivotable between a first position suitable for stowage and a second position suitable for use. A biasing mechanism is provided for biasing the carrier member towards the extended position. Movement of the carrier member from the extended position to the retracted position is inhibited when the table is in the second position. Pivoting the table to the second position is inhibited when the carrier member is in the retracted position.

The Beading Design Tool is a tool for creating bead designs utilizing the actual beads intended for the design. The beads are arranged on the Beading Design Tool, either in straight stitch or offset stitch configuration. The Beading Design Tool can accommodate various sized beads. The beader can easily alter a design, or correct an error, by simply removing those beads no longer wanted in the design and replacing them with other beads. Manipulating the design is easy and fast. Upon completion of the creation, the beader may transpose the beads on the Beading Design Tool to the loom, or free hand composition, thereby minimizing the possible error of adding, deleting a bead or selection of an incorrect color. The beader may also elect to keep the design on the Beading Design Tool as a guide and create the finished piece using a second set of beads.

A portable, tray and carrying case apparatus is disclosed. In an embodiment, the apparatus includes a tray adapted for being placed in at least a working position and a stowed position; a carrying case for storing or stowing the tray when not in use; a support arm secured to the carrying case and adapted for being placed in an elevated position whereby the tray may be placed in the working position; a support arm locking mechanism for locking the support arm in the elevated position relative to the carrying case; and a tray locking and support bracket assembly for locking the tray in the working position relative to the support arm and for providing support to the tray when the tray is in the working position and being used by a user. The portable, tray and carrying case apparatus may further include a handle and/or an apparatus stabilizing structure.
